We had a wonderful experience with The Floor Center. We had a long scar in the floor of our 1940s home that had been poorly patched when someone had removed a wall long ago. Robert’s team led by Carlos laced the wood back together (they had to take up a larger part of the floor because the boards didn’t line up perfectly on either side of the old repair) and were able to reuse many of our existing boards to do it, you can see the new wood over by the wall in the collage. They sanded the floors down and prepared three stain samples (bottom left photo of the collage) based on colors we picked from a fan book they loaned us. The bottom right photo is the finished product and we couldn’t be happier with how the floors turned out! They took great care of our home, using plastic to cover the openings to the kitchen and all vents so the dust didn’t end up anywhere it shouldn’t, and cleaned up the remaining dust when they finished. The stain is Nutmeg from Duraseal on red oak hardwood, with a Satin finish polyurethane sealant.

These guys run a business like it's meant to be run! Nice, helpful, honest and they did a cracking great job. Installed beautiful wool carpets in our upstairs -- they were fast, easy to have around, and the installation is perfect. So glad I found the Floor center!

The Floor Center Burbank, CA is the place to go for flooring! Robert and Ray are awesome and are great and easy to work with. This place is fantastic! We purchased DreamWeaver LINEAGE |I - 8068 patterned carpet for our bedrooms and we absolutely love it! They offer a variety of carpets and a variety of wood floors etc. Their installers were stellar! Benny & Jonathan (a father and son team). They did an amazing job installing. I ordered a carpet runner for my steps. Ray was so helpful and delivered everything he promised me. Given that I live out of town, it was most important to me to get the job done in a small window when I was here. No problem! Benny did a beautiful job of matching each step with the other. We are so happy we contacted The Floor Center when we were ready to refresh our upstairs floors. We wanted to remove all the carpeting and floor coverings throughout our second floor. Our hope was that we would be able to put hardwood throughout the bedrooms and hallway, and find eco-friendly, high quality non-tile options for the bathrooms and laundry room. Geena, Ray, Robert, and their whole team were great. Ray was the point man on our project. He came out and assessed our floors, immediately saw the need for subfloor repair and replacement, and discussed our goals and budget. His bid was detailed, fair, and competitive. He bid both engineered hardwood and Somerset oak pre-finished hardwood, and we were extremely pleased to find that the Somerset hardwood fit our budget. His suggestion of Forbo and Karndean Luxury vinyl turned out to be great choices for the laundry room and baths. Ray made a clear plan that went smoothly. All work was done in a timely manner. They came on schedule, worked long days, and were a pleasure to have working here. They were kind and respectful of our home and made the upheaval that goes with this kind of work much less stressful. They crew handled the demolition and removal of large sections of subfloor with great care and precision, and carefully hauled it out with no damage to walls or stairway. They and Ray consulted with us every step of the way, ensuring we understood the condition of the subfloor and our options for repair or replacement. The installation of the new flooring was done with great attention to detail and care. And the final touch~the installation of new carpeting on the stairway~was done beautifully as well. Their expertise, attention to detail, and their dedication to their craft gave us beautiful, sound floors and a lovely stairway, and we are thrilled. We highly recommend The Floor Center.
