Matt, Tyler and megan have been phenomenal - first of all, as a new business - I interviewed a few firms and Matt’s pricing was the most reasonable and supportive of new business owners - he made it impossible to say no - his team is highly responsive and makes the accounting process seamless and enjoyable - matt also offers years of experience of insight and strategy that is supportive and inspiring - I can’t believe I spent 2 years trying to do this myself - don’t skip a beat and hire matt -

I was a customer of Capforge for about 2 years for bookkeeping and tax. Recently, I opened a second company and wanted to work with Capforge as well. They raised prices on me for quoted work *after* we had signed the contract. This was one month (!) after we had signed the contract. I ended the relationship for both companies. Their attitude was extremely condescending. I used Puzzle.io for bookkeeping and they forced me to Quickbooks, bad mouthing Puzzle that it would be out of business like all the other quickbooks competitors and "come back to me if they are around by 2030". They are not a good fit for young companies in the AI age, it feels like working with a dinosaur. Update: Seems like I cannot respond to feedback here! Capforge never explained that "no-activity" means filing for an entity which does not even have a bank account. I had clearly explained that entity was open for 1.5 months and did not have payroll or any real expenses. When Capforge came back, they said they had to charge more for the 6 week tax return - I looked and there was literally 17 transactions and maybe only 3 of which were not internal transfers. And that was it. In my book, that is "no-activity". I can categorize those in 5 minutes. It's free money. If I would have been asked that there is going to be more money charged, I would have perhaps agreed, but I was told straight up we will charge you more for services for price we had already agreed on. And no, buddy, you did not tell me it was not a good fit. That's not how it went. I gave two options: option A: proceed according to the contract for price agreed on and contracted option B: you cannot deliver on services we agreed on and yes, I would charge it back if I pay for a service which cannot be delivered for agreed upon pricing in the contract. You chose B. If I could give 0 stars, I would!

Incredible bookkeeping service. Taylor is super easy to communicate with, responds quickly, has a lot of open availability for calls, and under her my books are squeaky clean. I would absolutely feel confident defending an audit with her books, which I haven't felt with other bookkeepers. I'll be using Cap Forge for years to come.

Matt and the entire cap forge team are great!! They are very knowledgeable and responsive. We had the team help do a business purchase evaluation and they were instrumental in helping us acquire the loan to purchase the business. We love the team so much they our the official book keepers for the business. I trust his team to be able to handle anything and provide the best guidance based on their experience. Matt at CapForge just completed a Due Diligence financial report for me for a business that I am considering purchasing. The report was thorough, insightful and went above and beyond what was I expecting - and the cost was completely reasonable.
