I bought HP laptop on July 4 , 2026. I was told by sales person Felipe after I paid full amount of $1477 that it will be delivered 07/05/26. I’ve waited til 5:45 pm. I called customer service and spoke with Abhi and said I have til 12 midnight for the laptop to be delivered, if I don’t receive it to call back first thing in the morning. I called customer service and spoke to Xoli, she said the order was cancelled, I ask who cancelled the order she said she doesn’t know, then she said Rody cancelled the delivery. So she confuse me. I ask for manager, spoke to Shha SC manager, He said it was only the delivery was cancelled, the delivery was changed to 07/19/26. It is really unfair, they cannot send me my item by UPS or Fed Ex because they outsourced they deliver to rody. And it takes 72 hours to process the refund, so I told them that it’s a win win on their side what about me, where the good customer service they supposed to provide. They couldn’t send me to another store to get the laptop and cannot process the refund as soon as possible, so I have to wait for the money to be credited to my account to be able to buy a laptop, Best Buy is suck, they customer service is all lie, you can’t talk to the service person who help you the first time . Their AI when you call on the phone, it transfer you to different departments, also a waste of time before you get to live person. I’m very upset while I’m writing this hopefully you guys understand it and their corporate office to change the stupid policy . 😡😡😡

I wish I could say going to this, and really, any other Best Buy was a better experience. I'm old enough to remember when Best Buy was an engaging experience. Staff were knowledgeable, stores were well stocked, and it felt like a good place to get hands-on new and upcoming tech. Today, it is little more than a shell of it's former self. The staff are... Fine. They do the jobs that need to be done but service is slow and not proactive. Checking out takes an inordinate amount of time because most visits there's only ever 1 person working the register - more times than not no one is actively managing the station. So someone needs to be flagged down. I've opted to leave and go to other stores more times than I care to when no one cares to come to the register. I do appreciate the recent changes for the showcase areas for novel tech - 3D printers, gaming handhelds, household goods, et cetera. It would be good if there were persons assigned to that area to help shopper connect with the goods. I'm a firm believer in retail, so I continue to chose them for my electronics needs, but with each successive visit I feel less incentived to patronize them.

I used to really like this Best Buy location, but it has become a disorganized mess. I bought a 43" Sony TV from Amazon that arrived cracked. After returning it, I purchased the replacement from Best Buy to avoid shipping damage and was told exchanges would be easy if there were issues. When I got home, the Best Buy TV had the same cracked‑screen problem (likely a bad batch) so I drove back an hour later to return it. Where the experience fell apart... 1. Lack of coordination After waiting in the customer service line, a female employee helped me and brought back a guy from the back to open the box and confirm the damage. The former told me to go to the TV section and bring back the one I wanted. At the TV section, there was no sales rep available, so after waiting around, I grabbed the Samsung myself. When I returned, the customer service desk was empty, so I waited again. The employee who opened my box told me returns were now being handled at checkout, so he placed both TVs with the single checkout clerk. 2. Poor communication between staff While I waited in a long checkout line, multiple employees came and went, helping other customers but not addressing the return/exchange situation. When I finally reached the clerk, the original customer service employee reappeared and whispered that they needed to open the Samsung before I left because I had "already returned two TVs." This was frustrating because... I didn't mind her opening the box, but the reason offered for doing it was misinformed and unnecessarily cynical. No one was listening to what I had already explained multiple times. 3. Lack of ownership The clerk opened the Samsung, plugged it in, and said it looked fine. When I explained the issue was with the Sony 43" models and those should be checked, she replied, "If we sell them." She didn’t understand why I was returning it or even what products Best Buy carries. It felt like a tedious game of telephone among employees who weren't communicating or listening. If you are the store manager or regional manager, you have a site that seems to (a) have no single point of contact. One customer should not be handed off to three or four different employees during a simple return. Customers shouldn’t have to repeat the same explanation multiple times, especially with employees who struggle with listening skills. (b) Understaffed or uncoordinated departments (not enough sales rep in TVs, no one at customer service, and only one checkout clerk handling returns). I know hiring is difficult these days, but this was a bit much. This experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere in the future. UPDATE: Case in point: Best Buy's response is a template asking me to DM them on social media. I have already provided the transaction details and specific feedback here. If management is interested in fixing the issues I've detailed, they have my contact info on file from the return. Instead, the solution is to pass me off to yet another department on social media.

Extremely disappointed with Best Buy and Geek Squad. We bought a brand new washer and paid for Geek Squad protection, expecting a smooth experience. Instead, we’ve been stuck for weeks with a defective unit and no real help. Geek Squad has scheduled multiple service appointments , no one ever shows up, no calls, no follow-ups. We’ve called support repeatedly, and all they do is reschedule for a week later, only for the same thing to happen again. We even went to the store, and they just gave us the same number to call. This has been going on for weeks. No washer. No service. No accountability. Best Buy sold us a broken appliance and a service plan that’s been completely useless. We need this escalated to someone who can actually resolve the issue.
