My house with a Spanish tile roof was constructed in 1983. Considering its age, the roof has held up very well, but I wasn't surprised when, after very heavy rainstorms in 2022 and again a few months ago, it developed some leaks which intruded inside the house. On both occasions I called Bob Piva Roofing for help; each time my experience was the same. Shortly after my call an estimator arrived, and soon after that a repair crew was on the scene. The workers were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly after job completion. I needed some repairs at my home whic required that tiles be removed and then reinstalled after the repair work. Bob Piva roofing installed my roof nearly 30 years ago and it was a great experience then. I called them and was delighted to learn that they were able to fit me into their schedule when I needed the work. Their estimator showed up on time, gave me and gave me a reasonable estimate. The repair crew showed up on time, removed the required potion of the roof and then reinstalled it as soon as we needed them to do it. The cost was exactly as quoted. Very pleased. We had Piva come out over the years to address small leaks in our 40 year old roof. We were able to extend the life of that roof for about 10 years. They were completely honest and said that we didn’t need to replace everything, but had to do some small patching. It gave me time to save up for “rainier days”. This year, after another leak cause by rotted wood near the chimney got bad, the time came where it didn’t make sense to keep throwing money at it. Brian was awesome during the entire process. He gave good advice on type of tile and color for the type of home we have and the surroundings. You have to be 100% sure that you are going to like the way the roof looks and he had several tile samples dropped off so that we could compare them over several days in several lighting situations. The workers showed up on time every day and complete cleaned up at the end of the day. I could not be happier. I did get other quotes but I knew I’d be going with Piva based on their reputation. The other quotes had more vents (and cost) than I needed per code. 100% satisfied.
