I just had a new mini-split system installed by Cold Cloud Mechanical. I couldn’t be happier. I met with 6 companies for this project and each one had a different idea for the plan. Alex’s plan was clearly the best and smartest. It was also the most complicated! I'm very impressed with the installation. Suren and Sebastian were fantastic. They executed the complicated plan brilliantly. One can hardly notice the pipes as they are all buried within walls and in closets. The condenser was placed in a place where it is hardly noticed. I highly recommend Cold Cloud for any HVAC needs. I will definitely be switching to Cold Cloud for maintenance and repair of the other systems in my house. They clearly know what they are doing.

Decided to update the HVAC in my Glendale house. The main issue was one of the back rooms — it never cooled down properly in summer and stayed colder than the rest of the house in winter. The other rooms were fine, just that one was always off. Got quotes from a few companies. Cold Cloud stood out right away. Their tech Alex showed up with a 3D scanner and did a full heat load calculation for every room. Showed me the airflow numbers on the spot and explained that the back room wasn't getting enough CFM because the duct was undersized. That's why it was always lagging behind the rest of the house. The other contractors didn't ask anything beyond square footage. Not sure how they were even planning to size the system. Cold Cloud actually knows what they're doing. Real math. They installed a Daikin FIT system and helped me get $4,000 back through the LADWP rebate. Really happy with how it turned out.

We worked with Cold Cloud to replace our HVAC system in our condo in Sept 2025. All in all, a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them. The quote with Alex was really easy and I appreciated that they gave me two options for different tiers of equipment and that they offer to do city inspections. Everything was clear and transparent and they gave me good options to consider. Their pricing was also competitive compared to other quotes I got. The installation itself is really high quality and well done. I feel like my unit is now one of the best installed ones on the roof. My only constructive comment was that there was a bit of miscommunication during scheduling. I conveyed to their project manager and he is aware of it and they are working on streamlining and improving it. I think a simple email with the expected schedules, expected location of the crane, etc., would have helped to make sure everyone is on the same page. I recommended them already to a neighbor and they also had a good experience. The neighbor had a small drywall issue and they stood behind their work and resolved it for her without any charge so they try really hard to provide good service and to make sure you are absolutely satisfied. So to sum it up, I think they provide great equipment and great installation at good prices. Whatever small hiccups they have with scheduling or communication, they are open to feedback and improvement so overall I highly recommend working with them.
