Danny Padilla serviced my home today and he was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Did not try to upsell me and addressed my unit’s needs quickly. Highly recommend this company and applaud the level of professional exuded at each servicing.

Edward Albert provided outstanding service for my HVAC System. At the beginning he told me what he was going to do. He then proceeded to evaluate each component of the system and explained the maintenance suggested, clearly explaining the benefit from performing the service and the risk that would be involved it I put off the service. He then performed the service and left me a check list of what he had examined and what service he had performed. While he recommended a couple of items, I chose not tho have performed. He did hard sell me, which I appreciated. I ended up signing up for annual maintenance and will be asking for him to perform the services in the future.

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with American AC Heat & Plumbing. Since the first year after my HVAC system was installed in August 2024, I’ve consistently reported a persistent mold/mildew-type odor coming from the system. Despite numerous service visits and multiple attempts to diagnose and correct the issue, the problem remains unresolved. Throughout this process, I relied on the company’s professional recommendations and authorized additional work based on their assessment that it would resolve the odor issue. That work resulted in significant additional expense, but the original problem persisted. After nearly two years, we’re at a standstill. The issue I reported from the beginning has not been corrected, despite my repeated efforts to work with the company and follow its recommendations. I understand that some HVAC problems can be difficult to diagnose. My disappointment isn’t that the issue was challenging, it’s that after investing a substantial amount of time and money based on the company’s recommendations, I’m still dealing with the same unresolved problem. If you’re considering American AC Heat & Plumbing, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about the basis for any recommended repairs, request documentation explaining the diagnosis, and make sure you understand why additional work is being recommended before authorizing it. This review reflects my personal experience. Based on that experience, I cannot recommend American AC Heat & Plumbing.

Update: They reached out the day after I posted my review. In hindsight, I should have contacted them as soon as I noticed the issue. They came out to assess the situation and fixed it immediately. They installed a tray under the condenser to collect the water and created a hole in the ground to allow the water to drain, which should help keep my yard dry. It seems like the solution will work well. Original: I’ve been a customer for 20 years and have spent a lot of money with this company, but this latest experience has been the worst I’ve ever had. They replaced my gas AC condenser with an electric one in December 2025 and promised it would be more efficient. Instead, it leaks so much water that it creates huge puddles on my patio—something my old unit never did. It’s now a safety hazard for my granddaughters and a constant headache for me. For six months, I’ve called over and over, left messages, and spoken to multiple employees. Not one manager has called me back. Not one. The unit is still under warranty, and my contract even says they will return my money if I’m not satisfied. Yet they refuse to respond. I’ve asked them to either reinstall my old condenser (which they no longer have) or move the new one to a safer location. After spending nearly $40,000, this level of customer service is unacceptable. I’m beyond frustrated and honestly afraid to even turn the AC on because of the mess it creates. This company used to be reliable, but this experience has been a huge disappointment.

I really appreciated how much time Stephen took to make sure everything was running smoothly and safely. Stephen was professional and respectful of my home. He also checked in with me multiple times to give me updates while doing the work. I truly appreciated how he walked me through everything in layman's terms. I feel well taken care of by American AC!
