I experienced an electrical outage in my home and I reached out to Makena Electric for the first time. Andre, the owner, responded immediately my call placed to him on a Sunday morning and he arrived within 1 1/2 hours and immediately identified and successfully repaired the problem. His fee was very reasonable and I especially appreciated his kindness, understanding and professionalism. I also soon discovered that he had 10 other customers in our community. If you have an electrical issue I would not hesitate to recommend Makenna based on my very positive experience.

We needed to get an EV Charger installed so I asked ChatGPT to review the list of recommended Enphase installers local to me and help me find a reputable, highly rated electrician for my EV charger installation, and Makena Electric was one of the strongest recommendations based on other customers reviews. After working with Andre, I can absolutely see why. Andre was professional, friendly, polite, responsive to messages, and always on time. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and he took the time to explain everything clearly. He did a great job with my EV charger installation, cleaned up everything afterward, and even followed up after the install to make sure everything was working properly and to see if there was anything else he could help with. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing quality work and treating customers right. I would absolutely recommend Makena Electric to anyone looking for residential electrical work or EV charger installation.

I am so happy to have stumbled upon Makena Electric. They were recommended by neighbors of mine and it sure paid off. We have a very "curious" dog who was apparently interested in our outdoor lights. I called Andre when they no longer worked, and he diagnosed the problem, located exactly which one of our 30 lights that was causing the short, re-wired everything and fixed it all before lunch! Great guy, great crew and super reasonable. The best part is that he's local!!

Makena Electric is a miracle worker! The entire front part of my home was without power. Another contractor told me they would have to cut holes in the ceiling of the entire first floor of my home to run a new wire for thousands of dollars. I sought a second opinion from Makena over the weekend, and I was promptly provided a reasonable estimate and a Monday morning appointment. Andre was very professional and kindly explained the inspection to me, step by step. He found a loose wire behind a light switch and restored power without having to cut a single hole in the ceiling or walls and charged an incredibly reasonable fee. I am so very thankful for the honest and reputable work of this local Huntington Beach company! I would recommend Makena Electric to anyone who is looking for an experienced and honest electrical contractor. Thank you Makena Electric!

After moving into a new home the power to half our house went out and we found out we’d need an entire new electrical panel. Not only did Andre respond on a weekend to come diagnose the issue but his team worked quickly once we scheduled a second appointment to get it installed and our power back on. I had a ton of questions throughout the process and Andre and his team took time to address all of them. I highly recommend contacting Andre if you’re looking for quality electrical work at a great price.
