My aged AC system had stopped blowing cold at the start of the latest heat wave. When another company failed to show for a repair appointment Big Wave Heating and Air came, diagnosed the problem, and got it working again. More than that, they showed us a long-term solution that is more efficient, much quieter, and stabilizes our home’s temperature, with much better air filtration as well. Mark, Jeff and Travis all were helpful, professional and effective. We’re very happy with our new system from Big Wave! Wonderful service and transparency! I really appreciate the honestly and efficiency of Big Wave as I typically get taken advantage of (i.e. cost or less service) by contractors because I don't have a man standing with me when I book the service. I experienced a similar situation with a Different Vendor during the process of installing my AC unit with Big Wave. If it hadn't been for Big Wave stepping in and speaking with that vendor, they were going to charge me double for an error the vendor made. I have since used them for AC maintenance at another property and am very impressed with their work and knowledge they provided regarding maintenance of the system.

Mark and Jeff are absolute Pros. They recently completed a full new heating system installation at my home. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, the entire experience was completely seamless and professional. Instead of just pushing the most expensive option, Mark took the time to evaluate our home setup. He recommended an energy-efficient system that gave us a peace of mind and helped us with our mold and allergies concerns . We can now breath a very clean air in our home . I definitely want to recommend Big Wave Heating & Air Conditioning company to anyone.

Great experience with service technician, Jake Tracey, who promptly showed up at 12:00 for appointment window 12:00 to 14:00. Jake’s maintenance/repair work on my HVAC system was efficient, and detailed. Also, he patiently answered all questions and explained the final bill/invoice. Great service provided by Jake & Big Wave, will recommend to neighbors and friends. Aaron K, Huntington Beach.

Highly highly recommend these guys. My wife and I had an issue in which previous owners had hired inexperienced contractors to install an HVAC system. See attached photos - horrendous AC return vent and ducting layout that intruded in garage space (not to mention lack of code compliance), inappropriate ducting size, asbestos ducting present despite claims of remediation, etc. etc. Big Wave was probably the third company we had come out to take a look to see what could be done. Charlie and Jeff were the first professionals to actually take the time to thoroughly examine the issues and come up with a plan that maintained the existing equipment (as other companies were quick to try to upsell us on a brand new system despite the equipment being less than a year old). They also provided referrals for proper asbestos remediation, and promptly installed appropriate new high efficiency ducting. They did great work, and all workers were professional and courteous throughout. Our system has been working great for the last 6 months and we are happy to continue working with Big Wave for maintenance. Photos included: ducting in garage (before...gross.), furnace relocated to attic with new ducting, closet in garage (after furnace was relocated - more garage storage space...yay!)
