I very much had a good experience with Accurate Termite and Pest Control. I live in a 3-storey building, and they were prompt to finish the work on time, and my home did not look like a bunch of people had been in there. Everything they said they were going to do got done. When I passed by the first night, I could see how well-tented the building was. Quite the feat.

The Accurate team did an exceptional job. A big shout out to Ozzie, he met with our community, went through protocol & procedures in advance & patiently stayed until all of our questions were answered. On the day of service the Accurate team went out of their way to assist condo owners & answer last minute questions with professionalism & courtesy. Accurate delivered as promised & kept in constant email communication. It was a positive experience.

Unfortunately, our HOA in Manhattan Beach selected Accurate Termite & Pest Control to handle termite inspections, and the experience was an absolute masterclass in customer service failure. Homeowners were given the “privilege” of contacting the company directly to schedule appointments, which turned into an exhausting exercise in frustration. Trying to reach a human being at Accurate Termite was like trying to staple jelly to a ceiling — only less enjoyable. Every call forced me through an endless and confusing phone tree maze that seemed specifically designed to discourage customers from ever speaking to an actual person. After at least a half-dozen calls, countless prompts, and unnecessary aggravation, I finally managed to schedule an appointment. What made the experience even worse was the complete indifference shown afterward. Since getting a human on the phone appeared nearly impossible, I mailed a polite letter directly to Jim Donnelly, the company president, explaining the terrible customer experience. Predictably, the letter was ignored. In today’s competitive business world, companies survive or fail based on customer service. Accurate Termite appears to have missed that memo entirely. I would only recommend this company to people who genuinely enjoy miserable communication, endless frustration, and disgracefully poor customer service.

Our experience with Accurate Termite was unacceptable and directly caused delays, added costs, and unnecessary stress. They issued a “notice of completion” based on work done by a third-party contractor we hired and already paid. Then, when the buyer called to verify the work, Accurate suddenly changed their position and began using scare tactics—telling the buyer the work was “haphazard,” “poor,” and that the contractor “didn’t know what he was doing.” This completely undermined the transaction. Despite being paid for fumigation, they refused to issue a fumigation certification unless we used their company to redo the wood repairs. We were effectively forced into using them to keep the deal moving. They then charged over $7,000 for what was essentially one day of work with two workers. Even worse, the job wasn’t completed properly. During the final walkthrough, more than 30% of the repairs we had already paid for were not done at all. We had to call them back to finish basic items that should have been completed the first time. As a result, our closing was delayed by over a week. I requested a call from the owner to address these issues and never received a response. This experience felt unprofessional, overpriced, and handled with zero accountability. I would strongly recommend others proceed with caution.

Beware. We hired this company to inspect and treat a 376 home community and could not have received a worse quality of work. We were invoices for over $75k of work that was not completed at all or was not completed correctly. I would suggest staying away from this vendor. We had to do multiple property walks with this vendor where they admitted to not having touched the work before invoicing it, claimed the job site manager did not perform his quality inspections as was required and generally had no answers that were reasonable. The work they did do was of such poor quality we are now having to have the work re-done. Please save yourself time and avoid this vendor as they value revenue over quality. We requested documented picture of any follow-up work when they vehemently refused, likely because they know they bill you for work that wasn’t done or that they short change you on.
