If you are looking for a high-quality, well priced contractor you can save yourself a lot of legwork by calling STS Construction. My remodel project included 1,800 sq ft of floor tile, 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, fireplace, and utility room. I had contacted about 10 other contractors in San Diego, but none could compete with STS when it came to the pricing for my remodel. Todd and Jylene surveyed my house then gave me a proposal of their labor costs plus the cost of the materials I had already chosen; using their contractor pricing. No other contractor was willing to provide such a proposal, but when you have a budget, exact numbers matter. While I was living at my home during the remodel, the project was split into two phases, so I had access to one bathroom at all times. In short, their work is excellent and I am completely satisfied with the end product. STS attention to detail is especially impressive in the tile work. STS also kept my house very clean during construction. After removing a drywall for example, they meticulously vacuumed the carpet at the end of the day, even though the carpet was scheduled to be removed in the morning. I will use STS Construction again for my future projects. I first worked with STS Construction in 2017 on a complete interior remodel of my home, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and flooring throughout. While my original vision for the backyard exceeded my budget, STS Construction owners Todd and Jylene worked closely with me to prioritize key elements and develop a proposal that was both thoughtful and financially realistic. Construction began in May, and work progressed consistently from start to finish—even on holidays. The only delays occurred when special-order materials were awaiting delivery.
