Be very careful of this company. They are scammers. I had a technician come out due to an ac problem. The ac will be on all day and the house will stay at 83 degrees. The first technician came out and tested everything and said there is no problems. Gave me the basic advice replace filters etc. then the company contacts me and says they want to send out their senior technician. The senior technician comes out and says right away the compressor is out on the outdoor unit. He recommended to put a jump start kit on the compressor which is 100 dollar part and wanted to charge $350. When I stated that the compressor is out and the unit is a year old I brought up how this is a manufacture problem the technician began to state how you can only replace the part if it fails with the jump start. Which is a load of BS because of the compressor is unable to work and operate as is from the manufacture then it’s a faulty part. He then goes to send me an estimate for manufacture warranty claim for $4000. When I called the office and questioned why I’m paying 4k when it’s manufacture issue the lady stated that what we charge for labor and miscellaneous parts. Something didn’t seem right so I contacted the manufacture and inquired on the cost for a new unit for the outside and to replace the out door unit for a 3ton is 4k. But you guys wanted to charge me 4k for a compressor and refrigerant. After stating this the technician Tony got worried and up and left in a hurry. Honestly looks like this company is scamming people.

Con Artists!!! I called True Home because they were referred to me by the company that did the initial installation of my system five years ago when I purchased the house brand new. I have been having issues for several years now of my unit, not draining properly out of the primary pipe. It has continuously been draining from the secondary pipe above my second story window. True Home came out to investigate and claimed that they attempted to clean out the main pipe, and that it was cleaned. The technician told us to keep an eye on the system to see if it continued to leak out the secondary drainage pipe and to call them back if it did. He charged me $375 for the service.. After five days of continued drainage out of our second story drainage pipe, I called True Home back to advise them that the issue had not been fixed. True Home came out a second time and said that it was a problem with the coil. They quoted me a price of over $3000 to have the coil replaced, which is still under warranty. I was then advised that it may be possible that the coil was discontinued, so the only way to get the system to work was to replace the whole unit. which was over $17,000. This week, I called a friend of mine who works for Kinetic Air. He came out with his boss and climbed up in the attic, just like the previous company, and actually opened the unit in the back and unclogged the primary pipe. The problem was fixed!! And now the secondary pipe is no longer draining!. In short, True Home didn’t do the job correctly. Either the technician was incompetent or lazy. All he had to do was shoot CO2 from the back of the pipe and that would’ve cleared it. It wasn’t even a $17,000 fix. True Home air basically robbed me!. Definitely a company not to be trusted and I would not do business with them again! I highly recommend Kinetic Air and will be leaving them a stellar review!

Alex was great. What I find interesting is the first inspection I had, the techs were not willing to change any of the air filters or they gave a reason for not changing them being that they supposedly didn't have the sizes that would fit my unit. That being said, Alex changed the filters and he didn't try to forcefully use a sales pitch requesting that I get more services done or that I make further commitments so he gets five out of five stars. If I do decide to go with you guys again, I want him to be assigned to me as the tech. Thanks

I had True Home Heating and Air come out to give me a second quote on some work another company had suggested was necessary. Turns out my system was fine. I work with Tony P. Firstly I appreciated the honesty of Tony and Tru Home. Tony was affable to interact with. He took the time to walk me through what he was doing and talk about potential ways I could improve my system if I wanted to do that. I had been using the previous company since installation of my system, but I will definitely be making a switch going forward.

I recently used True Home Heating and Air Conditioning and had an excellent experience with their technician, Edy Rodriguez. He arrived on time, was very professional and courteous, and took the time to thoroughly inspect my furnace. Edy clearly explained the issues and completed the necessary repairs. His conclusion was that regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance are essential. In my case, he cleared a clogged condensing drain and cleaned the oxidized flame sensor, which were the main causes of my furnace issue today plus he checked many other important things. Even if you use your heating system only a few times a year, he strongly recommends regular maintenance for both the furnace and the AC unit. Edy also replaced my supply and return air filters, inspected the outdoor AC condenser, and checked airflow throughout the entire house using a thermal detector to verify both heating and AC supply diffusers. I highly recommend this company, and I will definitely request Edy for all future maintenance—he truly goes above and beyond. Before choosing True Home, I researched several other companies, including a few Carrier-certified/authorized providers. Their prices were extremely high just for a diagnostic visit, with additional high hourly labor rates ( with True home it’s a flat repair cost), and parts costs can add up quickly (most system components carry only a 5–10 year limited warranty—always register your model and serial number with the manufacturer to confirm coverage). True Home waives the diagnostic fee if you proceed with their service or repair, which is a huge benefit. Had I not done my research, I would have paid 2 to 3 times more than what I paid with True Home today.
