I had been using the same tax person since 2003 in Wstm. He was a friend of a co-worker while I was working in Wstm, so it was convenient. I retired in 2012 and live in Laguna Niguel. In the last few years, my tax man (who is well in his 80's at least) began giving me less and less of his time and acted more and more offended whenever I asked a question. I believed his people skills were diminishing quickly. Often, my sessions with him would last only 10-15 minutes. The drive to drop off and pick up my taxes was also tedious and almost 30 miles away. After the 2024 season, I decided it was a time for a change and to find a tax person closer to home. After extensive searching online and reading many reviews, I found INTERCRUS TAX SERVICE in Laguna Niguel. I was pleasantly surprised to find INTERCRUS was only about 3 miles from our house. I found YEVHENIIA VLADARCHYK was very good at responding to phone calls and text messages as well. When I met with YEVHENIIA, she was very friendly and patient with me. She took the time to answer all the questions I had and was not in a hurry to get me out. Our taxes are not that complicated, but also not something my wife and I want to take care of ourselves either. When I left, I had copies of our taxes in hand and knew exactly what we owed the Fed and State. (We knew we would owe money.) YEVHENIIA asked me when I wanted the funds to be deducted from our checking account and set it up for us. (Hopefully, in the future, there will be money coming back to us via direct deposit.🤞) On the set date, the exact amounts were deducted from our checking account just as YEVHENIIA said they would.
