George and his team did a great job on our shower remodel. The whole project took about three weeks, communication was great throughout, and the pricing was fair — especially given the quality of work. I appreciated that George handled all of the permitting work and coordination with the city. George was straight to the point, explained everything clearly, and never tried to upsell us on anything. His team was respectful of our space (I was working from home the whole time), which made a big difference. Honest, professional, and skilled — would hire them again.

I received excellent results from the Tixan crew. My barely functional 1976 bathroom was transformed by them into a beautifully indulgent space. They even figured out a way to increase my already-spacious shower by width and height. It feels super lux now. The drywall/plaster work and tile work are flawless. Big bonus: the crew was amiable, professional, and easy to have around. (The photo is pre-paint and other design touches).

Tixan Construction did an absolutely amazing job renovating our entire house. We found George after an extensive online search and interviews for good contractors in Orange County. All his 5/5 star reviews are absolutely deserved. We bought a fixer-upper townhome that needed a complete refresh and Tixan Construction did a phenomenal job. What started as a dark/worn space is now a modern and bright home that we’ve received countless compliments on that the transformation can hardly be believed! (See pictures attached.) In addition, some additional highlights from working w/ George/Tixan Construction: * [Great Communication] - George was an excellent communicator throughout our renovation. He provided timely responses to any texts/emails/calls throughout which greatly helped explain and minimize our concerns 1st time home owners. * [Excellent Prices] - George and his team provided excellent pricing for all work performed. Close friends/colleagues familiar with construction confirmed the competitive pricing provided for the work performed. * [Service] - George provided great customer service as he was very willing to provide his expertise and opinion on design and material selections to ensure we maximized the quality within our renovation budget. In addition, he works to ensure excellent quality in his work. As an example, we had some challenges with our stairs creaking and he was willing to revisit free of charge until the sound was either eliminated or minimized as much as possible. Overall, I highly recommend George & Tixan Construction for. He is truly a stand-out General Contractor amongst the crowd.

Overall George and his team did great work, had clear communication and completed project quickly given the scope. Note: latest pictures of work are not yet complete as there were a few unfinished items still that did George did complete. I started my project with another contractor who sub contracted out most work with average to low quality and required lots of communication on my part without much time on theirs and lots of delays because of this communication. George and his team were the complete opposite. From the start he pointed out items that were not to code from the last contractor. I appreciate his communication throughout the process, and working with me on price since I completed some of the work myself and letting me know when crew would be coming / when work would be done. His team worked efficiently and had good attention to detail. My wife and I are especially happy with how the shower came out. The shower was built-out with the Schluter system that George's team exclusively uses, natural marble stone was laid out to randomize the pattern, tiles were transferred to the wall both straight and plumb, sealed, grouted and sealed again.

I hired George to remodel our three bathrooms and raise our sunken family room by building a wooden deck. George is super responsive, and I really appreciate that. I also asked him for other consultations, which he gave opinions on. The tile guy cuts are amazing. He's able to follow a curve because of the ceiling. My drywall contractor pointed out the wooden deck had a gradual but big dip that should be remedied before putting in flooring. George came back to verify the dip then had his guys fix it, no problem. He helped haul away excess trash that the drywall guy left behind, so that was extremely appreciated too. These projects took about three months to finish.
