Called for a simple quote for additional home outlet and additional light switch. Customer service on the phone was rude and wasted my time. After I explained the worked I would like quoted he stated he would NOT give me a quote because they were “too busy” and booked through end of September. I even stated I was willing to wait for an open schedule date. Bottom line they refused service without a valid reason. I personally would not waste my time with this company. Felt they were rude and don’t care about new/potential customers.

Penna was referred to me by a friend who used them. I had a great 1st experience with Penna. Todd (owner) met w/me 2 days after calling the office. Todd is knowledgeable, friendly and honest. He then provided a written Scope of Work later that day which involved several outdoor GFCI outlets; 3 light fixtures and minor interior re-wiring with outlets and switches. Total cost was $1,985. On project day, Carlos and Cesar arrived on time and did great quality work. They were friendly; had all the parts on site; and communicated with me for questions. They cleaned up after finishing. Everything from start to finish was as expected. Penna's workflow system makes it easy for reviewing, scheduling and approving work. Several payment options also. I will use Penna again for my electrical work.

Carlos and Cesar were incredible to work with. Our agreed job was a sub panel replacement and installing a dedicated outlet for an induction stove among a bunch of other odds and ends. They identified a way to not have to break wall, and the wiring to the stove was so clean we initially thought no work had been done at all, until they showed us how they routed the wire, and it was really well done. Communicated transparently throughout the whole 4 day project, and even got us a credit on the quote because they identified that some receptacles did not need replacing. Would work with Penna and Carlos and Cesar again.

Todd, the owner of Penna Electric was very professional and knowledgeable at our first onsite meeting. His estimate was fair. We needed a new circuit breaker panel and two dedicated outlets. Carlos and Charlie, who did the work, were also very professional, efficient, and made sure they cleaned the work sites (inside the unit and outside). We do highly recommend their services and would use them again if needed.

It all started with a really bad house in desperate need of a rewire... Owner Todd Penna came to our place and created a brilliant plan to break free of the mix of 1943 & some handyman 1980s add ons that were still dependent on the ancient wires and because the cramped crawl and attic, they didn't get an easy house to work, with which was my suspicion why it was never done right to begin with before we owned it. We put up with scattered pipe grounds, easy to trip kitchen circuits for 13+ years & some of the dumbest compact fluorescent lighting fixtures that needed to go so I am glad they convinced us to get rid of those too. it was really time for it to be done right, and I'm glad we we called up Penna now! And...it was done, right! And now I'll talk about the crew that did the work. Carlos and his brother Jesse and Charlie rebuilt the wiring in this house to be trustworthy and safe. They had to put up with me (a hovering handyman OCD perfectionist neurotic worry wart), so I'm so glad they had the patience and kindness to work with me. And they really did so many extra little things tidying up other slop and making sure I was happy. They walked me through a lot of choices that I really appreciate having that insight. So, if you're a demanding person (but not unreasonable), these are your people. You won't have to just live with some silly compromises. They did everything they could to make it affordable for us because they knew we were in a real pickle financially. That is just so rare these days. Thank you, Nabiyu! It was so easy and pleasurable to get all the financially handled so fairly. Thank you, Penna... we'll talk to you later when we can afford to do something about the roof wires that connect the house and the garage together. You'll be the only estimate we go for. And just for some humorous Insight, we had a second guy come for an estimate after Penna, and he never even called us back. He just ran scared 😆 So Penna knows how to do the big, complicated professional work.
