Edit: After speaking with the neighbors, the employee was not working on their property. So we have no idea what they were doing there or why they were searching our yard for a fire extinguisher. Employee walked into our locked and gated backyard when working on a neighbor's property. We asked what was going on, employee was dismissive, told us "I'm looking for a fire extinguisher. I got it. " and left, proceeding to walk along our driveway. I called the company and the person on the phone was more dismissive and rude. We were confused, because the employee did not have permission into our yard. Please understand that private property is private and a simple and polite explanation would have let us drop it, little customer service, but they were unkind and brushed us off. Imagine if we had an aggressive dog and now the employee was injured. It was not the error that was the problem, but the attitude of the people who work there. Completely unprofessional. As a real estate professional, I would advise my clients to use a different company for any fire extinguisher needs in the future, for themselves or their own tenants. Best wishes regardless.
