I was initially impressed with the communication. I called early Friday morning and was asked to send photos, which I did immediately. After several hours without receiving the promised estimate, I followed up because I thought they might have the wrong email address. I was assured I would receive the estimate by the end of Friday or, at the latest, Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the estimate until Monday morning. I was trying to get this repair completed early this week, so the delay was frustrating and put me behind schedule. The estimate was **$770** to bypass two ballasts on two separate light fixtures. Considering how small the job was, the price seemed excessive. If they have a minimum service charge or simply weren't interested in taking on a smaller job, I would have appreciated them being upfront about it instead of providing what felt like a significantly overpriced estimate. My biggest frustration wasn't even the cost—it was waiting several days for an estimate that ultimately wasn't a practical option. Clearer communication and setting realistic expectations from the beginning would have made for a much better customer experience. UPDATED: 08/02/2026: I was told what your service charge would be, and it was in line with what most electrical companies charge. I stand 100% behind my original review. The estimate I received for the actual work was so excessive that I can only assume you simply weren't interested in doing the job. I contacted another electrical company instead. They came out the very next day, completed the work in less than 20 minutes, and charged approximately 70% less than your estimate. People can draw their own conclusions from my experience.

He made the whole process smooth and stress-free.When Salvador arrived to do the job, he was right on time and worked efficiently. He completed the installation quickly but carefully, making sure everything was done perfectly and safely. The new fixture looks amazing, and the quality of his work is clearly superior. Edgar & Gabriel did a great job of installing our EV wall charger in our garage. Very professional and thorough.

Today Mario Castillo sent a tech, Salvador Sanchez, out to restore power to the front rooms of my 1922 house, not an easy thing to do with a 104-year-old structure. He arrived exactly on time and then spent the next hour not only solving the problem but also helping me restore the home's insane network. Excellent service--Salvador really knows how to go straight to the problem and calmly deal with it, all in less than an hour. The price was terrific, too. I'm so impressed that you could say I'm now a lifetime customer. Mario Castillo really is the best: Highly recommended.

Mario Castillo and his team did an excellent job on our electrical panel upgrade along with several smaller projects, including installing miscellaneous outlets and a bathroom fan. From start to finish, the work was professional, efficient, and clearly done with care. Salvador and Kevin were especially great to work with. They were thoughtful and respectful of the historic nature of my 100-year-old home, taking extra care to preserve its character while updating the electrical systems. They communicated clearly, kept the work area tidy, and approached every detail with professionalism. It’s not always easy finding electricians who understand older homes, but this team really does. I highly recommend Mario Castillo and his crew for anyone needing electrical work, especially in historic properties.
