Excellent service from Bobby and his apprentice. We needed service on our water heater, called and was able to make an appointment for the next day. We needed to replace our water heater; the entire process was great and our plumber did an excellent job.

We had a main line leak under our garage floor in Signal Hill. A-1 was very quick to respond and Bradley came out on time and was extremely thorough in identifying where it was and the least invasive and most cost effective way to fix it. He gave us the options and was able to give us a very reasonable estimate on the spot. We had interviewed several other plumbers and A-1 was right on in terms of the repair and the cost was very fair. Bradley was great to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Beware of this company! I saw the other bad review for them and decided it was a fluke and to try them out anyway, but that was an absolute mistake. The owner is nice and informative until his workers make an error and then it is all the customers fault (becomes standoffish as the other reviews explained). I paid them $2,400 to change out a water heater for one of my units, at the very beginning there were issues as they were not able to identify which water heater belonged to which unit, so they spent a couple minutes doing some testing and assured me 100% that they found which water heater was the culprit. When they started to change it, they mentioned to me that when they turned off the power to the unit they believed the water heater belonged to, the water heater didn't turn off. AGAIN they were asked are they sure they are changing out the correct one and told explicitly that we do not want to continue with the job if they were not sure and they assured me again that they were 100% sure. I did not hear from them until the end of the job when they told me point blank they did not change out the correct water heater, but I had to pay them still because we called on them change water heater and they did just that. I thought this was ridiculous, but luckily was able to reach out to owner and set up a time to talk, I expected him to be apologetic and as a business owner offer me a reasonable solution to the problem, but instead he blamed everything else stating that I need to change out my pipes or get my electrical fixed and the conversation became even more unproductive when he claimed that him and his workers never said certain things even though we have home security video footage and texts from the owner himself. Long Beach is full of great plumbers if you look they all have almost 5 stars, go with a better business that will take accountability instead of blaming the customer and leaving the situation worse than when they started.

I cannot say enough good things about the folks at A1, especially Bobby! My bathroom was flooding and Bobby came out INCREDIBLY quick. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgable. As soon as he showed up on the scene he immediately got to work to remedy the situation -- 5 minutes later -- it was all fixed! I would recommend A1 Best Plumbing to anyone in the LB area.

Polite, prompt, responsive and reasonable. What more could you ask for? They installed our new AC this week. Could not have been happier with the job! The install was done perfectly! Bobby and the installation crew were friendly, neat and proficient! They went above and beyond. Definitely recommending A1 best plumbing !
