Where do I begin… hasn’t even been my first week moved in and it has been a DISASTER! This is my first apartment and I’m so upset this has been my experience. First off, nothing works in the apartment! Everything is done so Mickey Mouse of a job! Even the maintenance guy said so . None of my outlets in my bedroom work, my stovetop and oven do not work. When I told management they said it will be a few days till they hear back from someone to fix it and that since it works with a lighter (mind you once I light it the whole kitchen starts smelling like gas) I have a child in home . Since it “works w a lighter” I can do that for now . My closet doors have no latch and are basically swinging. The floors! They have the deepest scratches and dents in them . When I toured the place I did not see that! From every room!! It has been a horrible experience and my biggest regret. And parking, we are supposed to have an assigned parking spot, the cars are extremely close to each other. When my neighbor parks if I park in my parking there’s absolutely no way she can get in her car without hitting my car . Let’s also not talk about all the cars parked along the wall making it impossible to get into my parking . So I have to struggle and have to park blocks away from my apartment. I would not recommend this realty to anyone

The CMC team were responsive, professional and communicative when they responded to several maintenance requests submitted by myself and my partner when all had to be taken care of at once. Where do I begin. I work in real estate, and I can say with full confidence that companies like CMC Realty are the reason this industry has a reputation problem. They are the textbook example of a management company that views tenants not as people to serve, but as revenue opportunities to exploit at every possible turn. My property manager was Jesus Saucedo, and I cannot stress enough how wildly unprofessional he was in every aspect of his job, starting with his communication skills, which were genuinely some of the worst I have ever encountered in a professional setting. Basic follow-through, timely responses, and clear information were a constant battle to get out of him. For someone whose entire job revolves around being the point of contact between tenants and a property, that is a foundational failure. What made it worse was how differently he behaved depending on the medium. Over the phone, Jesus was rude and argumentative. It was a consistent experience every time I called or he called me. But the moment communication moved to text or email, he would flip a switch and suddenly become pleasant and measured, because he knew it was being documented. That calculated two-faced behavior is not a personality quirk. It is a deliberate tactic. What was equally revealing is that once I began advocating for myself, his demeanor became noticeably more aggressive. A professional handles a tenant with transparency, accountability, and respect. Jesus handled it with hostility. Based on our previous interactions throughout my tenancy, I knew going into move-out that he would attempt to use my security deposit as retaliation. And sure enough, he did not disappoint. He then attempted to charge me multiple times as the result of his own failures. $200 to install two AC units held together with duct tape, which left tape residue, damaged the window seals, and caused a hole in the wall when the plexiglass blew out. Then $175 to remove one at move-out, a job that took less than ten minutes. If you must rent through CMC Realty, I would recommend requesting Kelsey Dudley on their team. She was actually professional, communicative, and conducted herself with the basic competence and respect that should be the standard, not the exception. The contrast between her and Jesus Saucedo could not be more stark. Do your research, document everything in writing, and never assume good faith with this company. They have not earned it.

Working with CMC Realty has been a wonderful experience. The response is very helpful and kind, when any problems arise. The staff is professional in all aspects and they are always willing to assist.

I've been working with CMC reality now for about 4 years to manage a property in Long Beach. Jesus Saucedo and the team at CMC have been fantastic throughout our entire relationship. They have been efficient in finding tenants and quick in their communication, especially with regards to small repairs and work needed on the house. Frankly, our house looks better now than it did when we left in 2021. I would highly recommend the CMC team to anyone looking to rent their property in the Long Beach area.
