Repeat customer here. I have used Cornerstone for installation of carpet, laminate, engineered wood, and LVP. Jim offers a variety of materials and will get anything if you find something somewhere else that you like better. I return to Cornerstone for flooring jobs because I don’t like surprises. Jim has used the same crew for years. They’re careful with my stuff, respectful of my property, can move heavy stuff and put it back, and they clean up thoroughly. My wood floors did not get scratched during my recent carpet installation and my walls didn’t get scuffed. They were very careful and did a great job. We love our new Andersen Tuftex carpet with thicker pad. This will be so much better for kids and pets. Thanks again Jim! 🙏🏻

I am a real estate agent and Cornerstone exceeded my client’s and my expectations with resurfacing hardwood floors. The home had floors installed at two different times so they did not match, one was darker and a different type of wood. When Cornerstone was done, the floors matched beautifully! The floor looked brand new and they were 30+ years old with a lot of wear and tear. Jim was great to work with, easy to schedule the project, done on time and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

Floors were installed fine. I didn't know what to ask for, so I didn't get a perfect end product. Live and learn, I won't knock them for that. However, this company has awful communication. One person told us to get things so they are easily moved. We come home the day before they started to a voicemail saying that everything had to be removed from the house and they wouldn't start until it was empty (it was scheduled for 5 days). The next day, the installer showed up and said they would only work one section at a time and it was fine how we had it organized. Flash forward two years and I get a bathroom refinished including flooring. I needed a new transition piece because the old flooring in the bathroom was lower than the new flooring. I called and left a message to get the piece to match our primary flooring. I get a call back from some guy who 1) didn't know what I was asking for 2) wanted to know why I didn't just use the bathroom tile for the transition material. I don't claim to be a flooring expert, which is why I wrote down what the flooring installers asked for when I called. I don't know if it was a terminology difference or what, but he left me feeling belittled and frustrated. They did order the piece I needed and had it delivered to the office same day. When I went to pick it up, it was an 8 foot long section. I drive a small car so asked if he could cut it in half. He said he didn't know how to do that or something like that. I figured I would just break it over my knee, but instead he decided to walk off with the piece, yelling at some other guy, asking if he could cut it. At this point I'm done dealing with them, I just want my piece so I can leave the store Eventually, he got it cut, after antagonizing me further and making me wait. I felt that they had poor customer service, poor communication. Their workmanship is fine. Maybe they cater to general contractors and so aren't used to dealing with an uninformed layman. Maybe they were just really off that day, but I wouldn't recommend them unless you speak their language -- in which case, hire someone cheaper to do the work.

Cornerstone replaced flooring and baseboard throughout our home. Mike Johnson was the project manager and Mike did a fantastic job overseeing the installation. Omar was the installer, he paid attention to detail and was very polite and conscious of keeping everything clean and organized. I work in construction and so I appreciate the professionalism of Mike and his team. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Cornerstone Floors.

We had an existing floor system that was failing. We’d like to say meeting Russ from Cornerstone was a divine intervention. He was willing and able to conduct a thorough review of our floor to identify problems and remedy. Russ let us take four large samples from their showroom home so we could make a decision of which to pick. We ended up choosing Lions Floor SPC from their showroom & couldn’t be happier.
