Absolutely terrible experience with Brad Keyes at Keyes Real Estate Los Angeles. Don’t be fooled by fake, paid-for google reviews. See recent generic bot reviews that say “like the food here”, “amazing presentation”, etc. I called Brad because he is the listing agent for a property I was seriously considering. I had some basic questions about the property and, understandably, wanted to know whether there were already multiple offers substantially above asking before spending an hour driving out to see it. Instead of simply answering my questions—or explaining what information he could and couldn’t provide—Brad became incredibly aggressive and condescending over the phone. At one point, he told me I was going about getting information the “wrong way.” Brad, you are the listing agent. If calling the listing agent to ask reasonable questions about a property isn’t the “right way” to get information, then what exactly is? I have a job and a limited amount of time. I’m not going to waste two hours driving to tour a property if the seller already has multiple offers dramatically above asking and I have no realistic shot at it. That seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to ask for a prospective buyer. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile and extremely unprofessional. Clearly the guy has anger issues. There was no reason to speak to a potential buyer that way. If this is how Brad treats prospective buyers before he even has their business, I can only imagine how the process goes once you’re actually working with him. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

Keyes did an excellent job selling my multi-family property. Besides being knowledgeable about the nuances of multi-family properties, they came up with a great plan to get the property marketed and sold quickly. They also have a great network of vendors to make smart improvements that maximized the potential of the property. Brad and Josh are great at their jobs, but so are the back-office staff that make the whole process very smooth and efficient for the seller. Overall, this was a very positive experience for me, and I can’t recommend the Keyes team highly enough.

He has great insight into which homes suit your lifestyle. We eventually ended up buying a place Josh recommended at a great price. We were also very impressed by the escrow and closing process. Josh and Narine were exceptional in handling the negotiations and paperwork. They were extremely thorough and did not make any mistakes. Even after purchasing our home, Josh continues to check in on us and has also helped us obtain important paperwork we needed. Buying a house is very stressful, and you definitely want to work with the kind and reliable people at Keyes Real Estate.

What really sets Josh apart is how available and responsive he is. He consistently answers calls, responds quickly to texts, and makes you feel like a priority no matter how busy things get. That level of communication and reliability goes a long way, especially if you’re going through the process for the first time, whether buying or renting a property. I truly can’t say enough good things about working with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great agent.

There were several times when we decided not to move forward on a property, and he never pushed back or tried to convince us otherwise. He respected our instincts and priorities, which we really appreciated. He was also very honest when walking through homes with us and pointed out things we would not have noticed on our own. Brad helped us a lot with due diligence, especially when it came to permits and understanding the details behind each property. That gave us a lot more confidence in the decisions we were making. Brad was patient throughout and helped us get a feel for different neighborhoods without rushing us. When it came time to make offers, he was thoughtful and strategic. He helped us put together strong, creative offers that actually gave us a chance in a competitive market. We also had a somewhat unique loan process, and he handled that smoothly and kept everything moving. Brad was always responsive and easy to get in touch with. He also helped us develop a clear process for evaluating homes so we could quickly rule out ones that were not a good fit, which saved us a lot of time. Overall, we felt like he was looking out for us the entire time. We would definitely recommend him, especially to other first-time buyers. I will be recommending Brad to my friends, colleagues, and family!
