I am writing this to warn any homeowner considering Electricians Service Team (EST) for a main panel upgrade. If you value your time, your sanity, and your home’s power security, look elsewhere. Their internal communication is virtually non-existent, their office staff is completely disorganized, and they fail to keep track of their own signed contracts.
I have meticulously documented emails, call logs, and signed agreements to back up this nightmare of a timeline:
August 2025: I signed contract #963A6Z and paid a $1,000 deposit. The city permit was pulled and a PG&E ticket was opened immediately.
Fall 2025: EST issued an unexpected $6,000 invoice to move the panel to the opposite side of the house. I declined, choosing to keep the panel in its original location. Navigating this and resetting the utility program caused a six-month delay.
April 14, 2026: PG&E approved the project, mandating a strict construction window of May 5th through May 8th. I proactively called EST to book May 5th and sent a follow-up email confirming all details.
April 18, 2026: A second electrician arrived for a site visit with absolutely no idea that a signed contract or project parameters existed. I had to personally explain the job scope to him.
May 5, 2026 (Scheduled Start): On the first day of our critical PG&E window, an electrician arrived completely clueless about the scope and left without a word. When I called the office, they claimed he "forgot" the scope they allegedly gave him. Shockingly, the office staff then admitted they were unaware an active, signed contract even existed.
Current Status (May 8, 2026):
Today is the final day of our approved window. We struggled to get the panel approved by the city; after two failed attempts, it finally passed inspection at 2:00 PM. However, there is zero clarity on who is responsible for scheduling the PG&E power connection.
Furthermore, there is unfinished work—including an exterior outlet replacement explicitly covered in the contract. Despite this, EST has repeatedly hounded me for final payment before the inspection even passed. When I asked for a discount to compensate for the extreme mental toll and mismanagement, they deflected all responsibility to PG&E and third parties, offering a meager $500 discount on a $13,800 invoice.
The Bottom Line: EST is a nightmare to work with. They are disorganized, communicative only when asking for money, and completely unprepared for large-scale residential projects. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional team instead.

Victor was a very pleasant and capable electrician. He fixed a light fixture above our bathroom vanity that other electricians did not want to deal with. My only gripe with the company is that their estimate does not include the additional charge added to the bill for travel.

The electricians was a real life savior in the society. He replaced flickering lights, changed outlets and told you how this works. His cordiality and punctuality made the experience both stress free. I will easily refer him to all any electrical requirements.

My husband was eager to have an EV charger installed and I was afraid of the mess of it, plus the cost. I have been impressed by the team; they were well organized and explained everything. The home charge of our car seems like a revolution currently.

I've used Raz and his crew on several projects and I've found them to be friendly, attentive, detail-oriented and skilled. I've been very happy with all of their work and the clear explanations they've provided about alternatives and costs.
