This review is not about the outcome of my case. I understand no attorney can guarantee a result. My issue is with the firm’s communication, professionalism, and handling of the case once it became even mildly complex. At the beginning, when there was little opposition, things seemed to move smoothly. Once the case became contested, the quality of representation dropped off significantly. The attorneys did communicate, but almost entirely by email. For a complex case, that was not sufficient. There were too many facts, issues, and concerns to address effectively through email alone, yet every time I requested a phone call within a reasonable timeframe, I was met with resistance. Scheduling a call felt unnecessarily difficult, and the attitude from staff—especially Cynthia—was often dismissive and combative. What stood out most was that I never felt this firm was fighting for me. I have worked with other firms before, and this is the first time I walked away feeling like I was being fought against instead of advocated for. Rafael, in particular, was defensive and combative when I tried to raise concerns—even after specifically asking for my feedback. He would not even let me finish a sentence before interrupting and becoming argumentative. I wish they had shown even half that energy in fighting for my case. I was also concerned by the firm’s handling of case materials. I brought prior case files to the office because their staff asked me to do so, only to later be asked by Rafael why I had brought them at all, as if he had no knowledge of them. That did not inspire confidence that my file had been meaningfully reviewed or managed. If you have a very simple, routine matter and are comfortable with a low-cost, high-volume firm where most communication goes through staff and email, this may be enough. But if your case is at all complex, or if you value communication, strategy, and actual access to your attorney, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. One thing Zachary told me was that no one offers the services they do at the price they do. In hindsight, that was probably the most accurate statement made during my time with this firm. My takeaway is simple: with this firm, you get exactly the level of service you pay for.
