We had a hard time with our landlord for many years, and they treated us poorly. As tenants in the OC, we were faced with what we classified as a behemoth of multiple landlords and property managers through the decade-long residency in our unit. We faced almost all the negative experiences you could go through when being a tenant, from negligence in the upkeep and care of our unit to damages to property owned by us to hostility, ignorance, arrogance, retaliation from the landlords, and much more. We constantly fought battles with our landlords and never reached an equal or fair resolution. We thought it would be impossible to seek justice for all the suffering and nonsense we went through. Post-pandemic, we faced more significant issues with our landlord and were pushed to seek outside counsel at that point. I spent weeks contacting landlord-related attorneys, but most attorneys in the OC were not a fit for our situation and weren’t confident in representing us in our case. 7.22 Update at bottom! Just signed up within a week of contacting them! Everyone has been super nice and during intake I was actually listened to, when I perhaps needed to just dump some anxiety out on the lawn and have someone help me sort through it. The other thing I appreciate is them agreeing to take on my case/project despite it having a good chance to resolve quickly. I asked for help with a demand letter and they never once recommended escalating, but I'm sure they will be ready to if needed and we decide as group. Two other firms (that just happened to have slightly higher search result rankings) turned me down because they seemingly only go for big rewards, so advocacy is secondary. The Harouni team seems super pro and empathetic, and is very honest and approachable. 6 stars so far! Thanks guys! This law firm is exceptional!!!! Caring, professional and over all efficient and fast! We went in as soonest we got our eviction notice and Meet with attorney Joe! He is a true compassionate and great professional! I had spoken initially with Irving whom showed care and initiation over the phone asking questions and then we spoke with their receptionist as well whom was a professional and nice young lady that had information about the case. We were afraid to get evicted after our home in Palmdale was falling apart due to the bad home owners lack of care and interest and the realtor whom also made fake promises and stole money from us!
