I was looking around to find a company to unclog my kitchen sink. I have a long-time plumber friend who told me to use a regular plumber, as they tend to be more money. Do I called around to find out prices to unclog a drain, and they quoted $75 if it had a clean out. However, when the tech got there, the drain out was unfortunately inside the house, and not outside, so the charge ended up being $126, which I was still ok with. A friendly guy named Jim got the drain flowing again, but since there was a belly (sag) in the pipe, there was calcified grease there which would ideally require that section of pipe to be replaced and sloped out better, or a get it power cleaned to remove all that better. Although my drain flows right now, I realize other work needs to be done, which I’m contemplating which way to go with that. Overall, he got the job done, and very nice guy to work around. Place was cleaned when he left. After about a month, the drain started backing up again. However, upon checking back with them, they actually had a 12-month warranty where they would come out an additional time within that 12 month period. They came back out within an hour of me calling them, and Jim came back out and snaked some calcified grease again in my line. He said there is a belly (dip in the pipe) which caused the calcified grease build up over the years. Although he was able to get the snake through once again, the line needed to be hydro-jetted. Within about 45-minutes, Corey came out with his truck and hydro-jetted the line which completely cleared all calcified grease at an additional cost. A snake can only poke a smaller hole through calcified grease (which is like a white paste kind of the consistency of a tough spackling paste). After the hydro-jet, the line was completely cleared. They even ran a camera through the line to show it was completely cleared.

Drain Town Rooter and their tech Ryan did a fantastic job. They responded quickly, showed up the same day, and completed the work efficiently and professionally. Ryan explained everything clearly and handled the repair without any issues. It's great to know I now have a reliable plumbing company I can call whenever a problem comes up. Highly recommended.
