We first hired Cutler Construction Services in 2014 to remodel our bathrooms, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and twelve years later we continue to enjoy the results. During that remodel, Josh Cutler demonstrated something that has become a hallmark of every project we've done with him: he always puts the customer's best interests first, even when it means making less money. Originally, I had wanted to remove the bathtub from one of the infrequently used bathrooms, but Josh explained the value of keeping at least one bathtub in the house; his reasoning made perfect sense. He also pointed out that the existing wall tile could be professionally cleaned instead of replaced. Rather than recommending a more expensive bathtub-to-shower conversion and complete retiling, he had his crew restore the tile so it complemented the new vanity, flooring, lighting, mirror, and paint. Josh never takes advantage of a customer's lack of knowledge, nor does he allow substandard materials or workmanship. Over the next few years, we called Josh for several small projects, including converting a wet bar into a desk, installing cabinets on our landing, and repairing shower tile that had been damaged by a re-pipe company. Fortunately, Josh had ordered extra boxes of tile during our 2014 remodel in case they were ever needed. Once again, every project was completed with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Two years ago, we decided to replace the flooring throughout our home, install new ceilings, and repaint the interior. We spoke with only one other contractor, whose bid was actually lower. However, after talking with Josh, the choice was obvious. He inspires confidence through his professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication, qualities that were noticeably lacking in the competing contractor. We hired Cutler Construction Services, and once again the entire project exceeded our expectations. This summer we remodeled our garage, and because of the trust we have in Josh, it was our only call. Even though it was a relatively small project, he gave it the same level of care and attention as every other job. When I told him we were in kind of a time crunch, he fit us into his schedule quickly, managed the project and subcontractors efficiently, and completed the work ahead of schedule. Friends have had other contractors who promise finished work by a set date but do not come through. Throughout every project, Josh has been exceptionally responsive, hires only outstanding subcontractors, and keeps everything running on schedule. His crew, Noe, Brent, and Adrian, were always punctual, hardworking, meticulous, courteous, and happy to answer our questions. At the end of each day, they left the work area very clean. Over the years, I've recommended Josh Cutler and Cutler Construction Services to several friends, and every one of them has been very happy with the results. In fact, many have commented on Josh's professionalism and integrity as the reason they hired him. The consistency of Cutler Construction Services over more than a decade says everything about the company Josh has built and the people he hires. Every project has been completed with the same high standards, professionalism, and attention to detail. The only major project we have left is our kitchen. Unfortunately, we remodeled it before we knew about Cutler Construction Services and hired another company. When the time comes to renovate it again, Josh Cutler will be the only call we make. Many thanks to Josh, Noe, Brent, Adrian, and Norma in the office!

Cutler Construction was the contractor for a major renovation (floors, redesigned kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) of our home and I highly recommend them. Josh and his team were good to work with, communicated well and, most importantly, did high-quality work and took pride in doing great work. We had never done anything like this, but Josh was patient about guiding us and helping us choose fixtures, appliances, colors and the many other things that must be decided when undertaking such a large project. He also made some of our ideas happen, going above and beyond to make sure things turned out as we wanted. We have been showing our place to friends and several, including a retired contractor, have made unsolicited comments about the high-quality workmanship. We continue to marvel at the results and how much our home has been improved.

Cutler Construction did an amazing job on remodeling our 2 bathrooms. When we first met with Josh, we tasked him with taking 2 smaller bathrooms: enlarge them, add double sinks, and maximize the space. This was a challenging task, but the result turned out beautiful and beyond our expectations. The crew was always courteous and professional, they cleaned up at the end of each work day. Josh always answered our questions and gave us solutions when needed. He continually gave us updates on work being done each week. There were never any issues with inspections or obtaining permits because the work done was professional and without shortcuts. It is difficult to find a company that shows integrity. We are thankful for our experience with Cutler Construction.

Have had CCSI do a few jobs now, starting with hardwood floor installation, then a full closet/cabinet build-out, and most recently hanging sound panels from ceiling for an A/V room. Excellent, detailed work, done without unnecessary delay. Even for my relatively small jobs, Josh has been very responsive to questions, concerns, pricing explanations. Nice to see other reviews say the same thing for bigger projects. CCSI very competitive on pricing, but for me the quality, quickness, and customer service/follow-up give them an edge. Always good to get multiple bids and do your due diligence as a homeowner. But after three solid jobs, I feel pretty good about hiring CCSI for upcoming projects.

We are so happy with the kitchen remodel project we did with Cutler Construction. Josh immediately impressed us with his attention to detail. There were many times during our project where it was clear that Josh is really committed to doing things the right way, rather than rushing through things to call them done. We also really appreciated Josh’s advice during the design / planning phase. He had a number of great ideas and suggestions to make the kitchen space more usable. The quality of their cabinets and the workmanship is superb. Installation was great and they nailed details like a flush installation of a Wolf induction cooktop. They made custom floating wood shelves and mounted them on counter-to-ceiling marble tiled walls which look amazing. Josh was proactive in coordinating things that we wanted to purchase, like cabinet drawer pulls and the pendant lights. After installation, the team at Cutler construction reached out to make sure we were happy and that we had not run into any issues. At one point we had a minor electrical issue and he had his electrician at the house the same day to fix the problem - really incredible! We considered two other contractors for our project and all three were competitive on price. Where Cutler truly stands out is in their integrity and quality of work. We’re already planning another project with Josh and would highly recommend the entire team at Cutler Construction.
