We hired him during a very difficult period in our lives after reading many positive reviews regarding CPS and juvenile dependency representation. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations we had when retaining the firm. We provided extensive documentation and information that we believed was important to our case. However, we did not feel that key evidence and concerns were effectively presented or addressed. We were also disappointed by what we perceived as a lack of strategic advocacy regarding issues that were central to our case. The outcome was devastating for our family, as we ultimately lost custody of our child. We did not feel that the representation reflected the level of advocacy we were seeking when we hired counsel. We also felt that the fees charged were substantial in relation to the services we believed were provided and the results achieved. Our retainer agreement listed Flat-fee of $49,500 with hourly rate of $ 1250. Looking back, we question whether retaining private counsel provided meaningful benefit in our case. This review reflects our personal experience and opinion.
