Ricky helped me in extending my existing fire sprinkler to our remodeled living room extension. I called Guardian 6 days ago and spoke with Rick. He explained that he charges $140 minimum for an annual inspection, but since my building is small with only 2 extinguishers, and it is close by, he would inspect for $100. Guardian was my first call, and I just wanted to get it done and move on to other things in my To Do list. I didn't even bother shopping it. That was last Thursday and we agreed to meet at the building Monday. I called him twice on Monday, no answer, left voice mail, and didn't hear back from him. I called again yesterday (Tuesday) morning, Rick answered, apologized, and I told him I could meet him at the building at any time that worked for him. He said 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and we agreed that he would text me 15 minutes before so that I could drive over to meet him there. Never heard from him again. Fire Inspection Companies are a dime a dozen, there's a lot of competition, and since inspections are required annually, respectful service is part of how to get new and repeat customers. Scheduling and not arriving, not communicating, and wasting my time too, is the mark of disrespect. Lots of other companies to choose from, so it's not hard to choose someone else. That's what I did, and based on my experience with Guardian and Rick, that's what I recommend you do too.
