One of the best contractors and companies I have ever worked with. TOP TIER professionalism and work ethic. I am a first-time homeowner and I was conducting bids for painting. I met with Sergio and could tell right away the passion and dedication he had for his work and the final results reflect this 100%. He listened to everything I wanted to have done and flawlessly executed. He made recommendations on what kinds of paint to use based off their cleanability (which was very helpful for me!). Bear Island is not going to give you the "landlord special": painted over hardware, sloppy paint drips, etc. What they do is art. Sergio and his team removed every single piece of hardware by hand and taped everything up to protect my brand new wooden floors. No drip, spills, anything. I asked for my rooms to be colored drenched and boy did they deliver! Window sills, trims, and doors are as smooth as silk and his team even repaired old plaster cracks in the ceiling for extra smoothness! The quote was more than fair for the work. I have recommended Sergio and his team to all of my family!

We had a great experience with Bear Island Painting! Sergio and his guys did a fantastic job on a full exterior paint job and repairing/repainting all of the window and door frames. They worked quickly, professionally, and took care of everything for a reasonable price. Can't recommend them enough.

"Sergio was highly recommended, and he made the trip to assist me. He expertly drywalled and painted both a door and the surrounding walls. Additionally, working with Becky was a pleasure; she managed the project seamlessly." Thank you

Sergio and his crew did an amazing job on our 111 year-old house! Sergio’s attention to detail is beyond incredible. Sergio is meticulous about his work and he is very professional and skilled. Sergio clearly takes pride in his work. He went above and beyond to make our home absolutely beautiful. I felt as if Sergio treated our home as if it was his own house. Sergio and his crew were very reliable. They always showed up on time and got right to work. When they finished, they always cleaned up after themselves. Becky in the scheduling and accounting section was also very professional and pleasant to work with. For anyone looking to hire professional painters, I highly recommend Bear Island Painters. I felt very fortunate to have our house painted by Sergio. The house looks beautiful and he restored it to its original glory days. Thank you for a beautiful and amazing job!

This is without a doubt the best company we’ve ever hired to do anything. We watched Sergio and Ricardo paint our neighbor’s house and were so impressed with how meticulous they were and how beautiful the finished product was, that we hired them to paint the exterior of our house. Our experience with Bear Island was perfect from start to finish. Bid and scheduling were easy, they showed up and left at the same times every day, and they kept and left our property spotless each day. Likewise, communication was clear and frequent; we were on the same page throughout. Any question or request we had was met with “No problem.” And there never once was. They totally understood the mid-century modern aesthetic we were going for and flawlessly executed it. Moreover, they kindly offered so many invaluable suggestions regarding aesthetics/color combinations (in terms of contrasts, darkening vs. whitening roof pipes, etc.). Their attention to detail was amazing. They prepped, sanded, fixed, and painted so many little things that we would never have thought of. They know how to do everything, including seamless patching, fixing wood & stucco, and much, much more. They are affable and professional people who take pride in their craftsmanship and who clearly prioritize the satisfaction of their clients. This is the company to hire if you want everything to run smoothly and have the job done by expert painters who care about what they do. We’re so happy that we hired them—we can’t fathom anyone doing a better job than Bear Island did. We can’t believe how amazing our house looks!
