Roofing Standards does not stand behind their work! I had service to repair a leak that occurred in a roof that Roofing Standards installed on my home. I paid them promptly for the repair work but sadly, when it rained again it leaked again. On June 1, I called the office and spoke with Stephanie. She took my message and she said that someone would call me back. No call. On June 8, I called the office and spoke with Arlene. She took my message and she said that someone would call me back. No call. On June 16, I called the office and spoke with Arlene. She took my message, apologized and said she would give it to one of their project managers and they would call me back. No call. On June 23, I called the office and spoke with Arlene. She took my message, apologized once again and said she would ask one of their project managers to call me. No call. On June 30, I called the office and was flipped to Mike Lee, the owner’s voicemail. I left a detailed message for him explaining the situation and requested he please call me to discuss. No call. On July 7, after six-weeks of calls, I concluded that they do not intend to call me back and they do not intend to stand behind the work they performed. This is personally very disappointing because I have done business with Roofing Standards for more than 20 years and have referred business to them over the years because I believed in them. At this point I am forced to conclude that their business practices are at best unprofessional and at worst neglectful. I am sad that I have to look for a new roofer after all this time and felt others need to know about my recent experience with Roofing Standards.

Mike and his team at Roofing Standards were outstanding from start to finish. The process from the initial estimate and bid to the final permit sign-off, was handled with professionalism and care. The crew went above and beyond to deliver not only the roof we wanted, but also the one we truly needed. They were collaborative throughout the project, accommodating changes along the way and offering valuable input that helped us make the best long-term decisions for our home. The level of customer service and integrity they demonstrated exceeded our expectations. I will gladly continue to use Roofing Standards for any future roofing needs and won’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Thank you to Mike and the entire team for a job exceptionally well done!

Our property management company hired this roofing company to replace our roof and they were very rude, when I found a hole in my ceiling, I immediately brought it up with them and they kept asking me if it was caused by their work. Can I climb up and poke a hole in this high ceiling by myself? And if your employee fell down and caused this hole, why didn't the person in charge come to me to say something? On the contrary, when I went to notify your workers, they still didn't seem to believe that they had caused the hole. I understood accidents happen, but this is an unacceptable way to handle things. Then they used a plastic sheet to patch it up, not even a piece of tape, so every day after that, my house kept falling dust and wood shavings because of their work, and it has been 5 days since it happened, and not a single person from this company has contacted me about the repairs. If you don't want to have headaches, don't hire this company to repair your roof.

Roofing Standards as a company and Owner, Mike Lee, are exceptional in their field. My experience with them is customer service attention when needed quickly and responsive, very knowledgeable with recommendation and solutions for any budget, competitive pricing and quality of work is top of their list. They have done large projects of 100,000 sq. ft. to minor ones with the same care and attention. I will continue to work with them for years to come and trust them with my own home. I highly recommend you use them for your roofing needs , as I refer them to my clients, family, and friends.

Our house in Villa Park needed an entire brand new roof. I was referred to roofing standards by a friend, and now I know why. Incredible job. They were fast, efficient and detailed. We went black on the roof with the house for a barn yard inspiration. Man, having a new roof completely transformed the house! Highly recommend their services!
