When I used to live here. The handyman is incompetent, forgetful and unorganized. The people running this management need to get their ducks in a row. Read their contract. Theyre not a place you'd like to rent. Been a couple years since I left and still haven't understood how theyre not replaced with better workers. They are still having the same issues in all those apartments. They dont fix anything and keep renting the units out without proper fixings

Company trying to buy land not even in the same state as they’re located and contacting when not for sale. Asked multiple times to be removed from whatever list they got my information and not contacted and have received the same text for MONTHS. Absolute joke.

Very unprofessional. They're always giving last minute notices. They will raises the rent up and won't fix ir update anything unless you push. Been waiting several years for my ticket. Avoid renting from this management property. Unless you like waiting, last min warnings about stuff, appliances breaking down and waiting forever to be fixed. Im waiting on studd they didnt fix when i moved in. Ridiculous. If you want more info reach out. You will never want to rent from this management. And no theyre not new employees. They just lie a lot to cover their mistakes The workers are by far the "most mistakes " ever happen. Rude

I would highly not recommend hiring Riviera Property Management to manage your rental property. I called their office to inquire about upcoming availability and cost of a unit at Coast, one of their apartments in Redondo Beach. The receptionist who answered the phone could not tell me anything about current or upcoming availability or the cost of rent, which is basic information the office of any rental property management company should be able to provide. I’m surprised the receptionist didn’t have access to some type of database on their end to organize and see this information. I was calling to confirm the cost of monthly rent provided on the official website of Coast Apartments - but was told by the receptionist that “the owner used to use the website” but that it “may not be current”. If it’s not current, why is the website even visible to the public? Isn’t that the responsibility of a property management to market and keep information current? The receptionist said she would speak to her manager to obtain the information I was requesting and that I would receive an update by the end of the day or in the morning of the following day, at the latest. When I did not hear back by afternoon the next day, I called the office again and was told by the same receptionist without any explanation or apology that she would need to speak to her manager to obtain the information I was requesting because she had somehow not had a chance to speak to her manager in over 1.5 business days. I’m not sure why I wasn’t contacted to be provided this update, or why I had to be the one to call their office to remind them to get back to me. If this is how prospective tenants are treated, I’m confident I would not want to live in any properties they manage.

This company is weird. Be very careful if you decide to rent with them. When I moved in, the heater wasn’t working, called the gas company and they said it was unsafe to use. They called a company to “fix” the heater, still unsafe to use as it smelt of horrible gas. The company’s technician even told me that he’s been to my house before for the same issue but with different tenants. So this company obviously never fixed the issue. Never used the heater at all ever since. When I moved in, they gave us broken blinds, a nonfunctional refrigerator (they did replace though) and a screen door with a huge hole in it. I’m pretty sure they’re going to take it out of MY security deposit once I move out. I am supposed to move out on the 31st of March but I am getting questioned to see if I am going to move out my stuff sooner so they can “get it ready for showing”. Mind you, I PAID rent until March 31st, that is when my lease is up. I’m preparing for them to take half my security deposit for something thats not even within my control because they seem shady like that. Will update review once I see how much of my security deposit I actually get back.
