I was very close to tearing out my decades old solid oak floors which would have been a shame. Then I met Paul and he was able to completely transform the finish to the natural beach house color I was looking for. Updated and modern, I could not be happier. Not only is his work superior but he is also a genuinely nice person to work with which is increasingly hard to find!

Contacted Paul on Thursday for floor refinishing. Decided to replace whole house with water resistant laminate. Paul went above and beyond making sure the flooring was level and damaged floorboards were repaired. Took 2 days to install flooring for 1578 sq foot house. Also reinstalled all the baseboards. Very satisfied will contact Paul again for future job.

We hired Paul to help completely redo the hardwood flooring in our new house, and we were so happy with the work he did. Our floors were completely uneven, and we knew it was going to be a complicated job that required someone with real know-how. We spoke with a number of possible floor folks on site before choosing someone, and Paul clearly stood out as the most experienced and knowledgeable (one person didn't even want to take our job because the floors were so out of alignment). That confidence and expertise showed up in every part of the work. He noticed things that others missed, thought through the details carefully, and clearly approached the project like a true artisan. He gave us a fair price, communicated clearly, and did beautiful work. We felt very lucky to have him on the project and would happily hire him again.

After a flood in my ADU, I contacted Paul at Hardwood Floor Specialist for a flooring quote. He was incredibly responsive, scheduling a same-day appointment, and arrived on time eager to help. What I appreciated most was his approach: instead of jumping into a sales pitch, he took the time to silently inspect all areas of concern and listen to my needs. He then provided a detailed, expert analysis of the damage, distinguishing between critical issues and minor concerns. Paul is clearly a seasoned professional. He brought samples, explained the installation process step-by-step, and provided a transparent price breakdown that made perfect sense. He is personable, professional, and has zero 'pushy salesman' attitude. I chose Paul and his crew for the installation, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He communicates every step of the way, encourages questions throughout the project, and delivers high-quality work. I highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again.

The original floors were very worn and stained. Paul was able to match the previous laminate used in the rest of the home, very closely. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. His crew was polite, efficient and completed both rooms in one day. Highly recommended.
