We hired them to help with our restaurant equipment install. Simple job and they quoted 2k-2,500 and it would be done in a day. Ended up taking three days, even though it wasn't more complex than discussed. No add ons mid project. Just did what we discussed. Hit me with a 5k bill and I refused to pay. Called them out on the bait and switch and said I would pay 3k which was more than we agreed. They refused and said I owe the whole bill. Very scam/bait and switch You are right it was time and materials and you said it would be 2k-2.5k. I said I had a hard out at 3k. The job didn't get more complex. It was map.the outlets and run 1 line. In the first day, from your own invoice, all that was accomplished in 9 hours was to map the outlets. I can do that myself in under two hours!?! I had to go onsite several times to keep work progressing (no management of the electrician, just pray he works hard and does a good job?). I understand it wasn't a hard quote but an over 100% increase on price and triple the time without any added complexity or increase in work is absurd. I paid the 3k. I won't be paying anymore. I had a bathroom fan replaced over the bathtub and the tub was left a complete mess from all the debris that had fallen from the ceiling including dirt, drywall, pieces of cut wire, etc.. I had to ask him to clean up and provide a broom. I wish I had taken a photo. I was surprised at how little regard he had for the cleanliness of the work. In addition, there were smudges on the ceiling that he did not wiped off. The estimate was for $195 but the total came to over double. I don't think I would go with an hourly rate on this type of work again.

After receiving an obscene quote to wire up 8 outlets on my newly installed cook islands, I called Steve Carter Electric. She said they would be there at 10:00 I received a call at 9:45, Julian was on his way and arrived at 10:00 and got straight to work. The electrical work was straightforward but the locations were tricky and required a bit of flexibility. Work was completed professionally and Julian demonstrated that everything was working properly.
