Morgan Skane have done my taxes for over 10 years. I recommend them to everyone I know to give excellent advice and save them money by legitimately using the tax code to their benefit.

Skane made egregious errors in my tax return. When I was notified by the IRS, Skane assigned someone to help me fix the mess. I later found out that this firm doesn't review their tax returns--even if an employee is new. However, their solution was to file an amended return that not only had more errors, but they wanted me to sign false statements to the IRS about how the errors occurred. When I pointed out the errors and the false statements, the owner became aggressive and told me if I didn't like their "tax solutions," that I should go elsewhere. I had to pay another CPA who researched their "solutions" only to confirm that the amended return would also have been completely incorrect. He also confirmed that I should not sign a return with false statements. The company cost me thousands to correct their errors. When I later tried to discuss a solution, Alicia refused to respond. Later when contacted by the BBB and the court mediator, she also refused to respond to several attempts to speak with her. Making errors is one thing. But making more errors that you can't back up in the amended return is shocking--not to mention making false statements to the IRS. The worst part is the awful customer service. Snotty lecture from their receptionist, lack of understanding of the tax code, and most of all, no accountability to clean up their mess.
