If we could give more than 5 stars to Elka Interiors & Construction we would happily do that! Elena and her team are an absolute dream team. Having a designer who is also a contractor is an absolute must for any remodel! What this does is completely eliminate the stress of a contractor trying to follow the plans of a designer. The same person who helped you choose the perfect lighting for your powder bathroom, or the perfect layout for your new kitchen then oversees the entire project and manages all the sub contractors without you having to lift a finger or worry about a thing. There is no miscommunication and no frustration. Elena and her team are absolutely brilliant and beyond talented, but also wonderful, kind and positive people to work with. Elena and Rosie communicate flawlessly and quickly, can stay within your budget and deliver on their estimate of how long the remodel will take. They transformed our house (built in the 70s) into a beautiful forever home and helped us make our home comfortable for a family of 4. We thought that remodeling our home would be one of the most stressful times in our life and we had put off remodeling our home because of that, but Elena and her team made it feel easy and far from stressful. I was actually sad when I realized it was the last week of our remodel because I enjoyed working with Elena and Rosie so much and couldn't imagine not working with them. No problem was too big and if there was a glitch, Elena was always able to offer a solution with a positive attitude. Thank you Elena, Rosie, and your team for making our dream a reality and turning our house into a beautiful gem that we will enjoy making memories in for years to come. After speaking with at least 3 other designers for home renovation and not feeling satisfied we talked to Elena and hired her and we are so glad we did! She has a great eye for design and more importantly she quickly grasps her client’s needs and tastes and moulds her designs based on that! We hired her last minute and despite that she made herself available whenever we needed her help! We are very happy with the way our renovation has turned out and would definitely hire her again!

Elena and her team are wonderful to work with; I'm so thankful we made the decision to work with her for both the design and the execution of remodeling most of our house. She was able to take my jumbled up vision/ideas and make it come to life, and she was always patient with me whenever I would agonize (sometimes for months!) over material or appliance selections. She was always professional and friendly with us, even after repeated requests to change the design or add in something not originally discussed. The execution of Elena's designs went more smoothly than I could have possibly imaged, with the inevitable hiccups being smoothed over as immediately and painlessly as possible.
