Update: We terminated Our services with Fire Safety First but they locked our fire monitoring panels and are refusing to unlock the panels effectively preventing us from transferring services to another fire monitoring service. When I told the owner I would report their misconduct, the owner told me to ahead and contact the city. This what you can expect if you decide ti hire this company. Be warned. We manage a commercial plaza in Lake Forest and we use Fire Safety First for our fire protection service. They recently informed us that our system was issuing a warning regarding the fire alarm lines. I specifically asked if the warning was possibly caused by low batteries. They assured me that the reason for the warning was very unlikely due to low batteries. I agreed for them to come out and inspect the cause of the warning light but was never told the price of the visit nor did I authorize any work to be performed other than the inspection to determine the root cause of the alarm. A few days later, I received an invoice of over $1800 and the only thing work they performed was to change the battery. Over $1800 for a simple battery replacement and without my authorization. I refused to pay the invoice bc I never agreed to the service of changing the battery and bc the fee was completely unreasonable. Despite being a loyal customer for many years, they sent our account to collections. Save yourself money and a headache and choose a different fire protection service.

I had agreed (on accident, due to numerous emails, which were confusing) to allow Fire Safety First to inspect my fire extinguishers. They charged $230. The problem, I had already had them inspected a week prior. Fire Safety First claims that they would only have done the "service" on the fire extinguishers if it had been needed. But I had proof that a week prior it was already fully inspected. So when I double checked the extinguishers, I found that Fire Safety First NEVER DID THE INSPECTION!!!!! They billed me, but they never actually went to the fire extinguishers and put up a new tag. This is very dangerous. If the extinguishers were really in need of service, and there was a fire, I would have been in trouble. This company is a scam. The back office said they'd look into the error, but instead, they did nothing except continually send me bills!! I am looking into where I can report this company.

Our property management hired Fire Safety First to maintain the sprinkler system. So with that I have worked with Fire Safety First for over 10 years now! They all way respond quickly when called and are very professional when on site.

We have been using FSF for approximately 16 years or so. They handle all of our wet and dry building safety needs. They have always provided a great service a great product for a great value.
