I could not be more impressed with Gus the Floor Guy. From the very first contact, Gus was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire project. We had a strange greyish stain on our floors that I wasn't sure could even be fixed, but Gus's team sanded the wood all the way down to its natural state and applied a fresh finish. The result looks better than I could have imagined—honestly, even better than I'd hoped for. Highly Recommend Gus’ Expertise! We recently consulted with Gus regarding issues that arose after a hardwood floor installation completed by another contractor (not Gus). Unfortunately, it became clear soon after installation that adhesive had not been properly cleaned from the floor surface. This left widespread visible residue across the planks, including fingerprints, smudges, wipe marks, shoe prints, and tracking embedded in the finish. We reached out to Gus to explore his screen and recoat services as a potential solution. Throughout our conversations, he took the time to ask thoughtful, detailed questions and carefully assess the situation. Ultimately, he was honest in explaining that this process would not resolve the adhesive issue for us. Even though his services weren’t the right fit for our particular problem, Gus was incredibly generous with his time and expertise. He provided clear guidance on how to approach the issue with our original contractor and even referred us to an independent flooring inspector in case we needed further support. He also remained available for follow-up questions, which we truly appreciated. We’re very grateful for Gus’s knowledge, professionalism, and honesty. If we ever need flooring services in the future, he will absolutely be our first call.

Gus did an amazing job with our floors! We recently bought a house and the first order of business was getting the floors checked out. They were an ugly grey color with swirls all over them. Gus insured us that they would look completely different once refinished, and we’re so happy with the outcome.

Wonderful experience working with Gus and his floor guys. They sanded old wood floors (from the 1950s) that had probably never been sanded before and were scratched and stained, and even water damaged in some places. Also replaced a hole (that had been a floor heater vent) with wood that blended perfectly with the surrounding floor. The top coat looks amazing. So professional and everything as promised.
