I never had a personal CPA assist me with taxes before, especially after moving around several times and mainly did my taxes through Turbotax or H&R Block because it just felt convenient. Both places never guided me on anything and I never knew what I was doing when it came to taxes. I thought it would be helpful to finally do my taxes with a personal CPA.
