Daniel was great - informative, honest and worked with me to find me the best solution at the most reasonable and mutually beneficial price. He completed the repair replacing my gas control valve and pilot assembly in 10 min (just like he promised). Payless was able to show up the very morning I called.

I originally got a quote from a plumbing company that was connected to my home warranty insurance. I was told that I couldn’t choose my own plumber of choice. And when the plumber assessed my unit, he said that my water tank had a leak and flooded the unit. He showed me the rusted connector. He then called Navien to see if I had any kind of warranty on the unit. Navien immediately said my warranty was void as it was installed improperly. The plumber then said it was irreparable and I had to replace the unit. When I received the estimate of $5000, I was shocked as the hot water heater, and even with the updated model was a little over $1500. So how could the install be $3500? Didn’t make sense to me so I had to call a couple of pluming companies just to get a second and third opinion. I soon realized that each company was similar in price. And then when Danny finally came to asses my unit, he didn’t agree that my unit was irreparable! He also immediately realized that the reason of my issue was because I didn’t have any gas! He mentioned that there must have been an earthquake gas trip that turned off my gas. And as soon S he helped me get the gas back on and a few minor things, my heater got the heat back on and it was back to normal! I did ask Danny to help me fix one issue on one or the vents so that Navien wouldn’t deem my set up as improper. So my supposed $5000 to $6000 repair was less than 10% from a total of 4 estimates! After seeing 3 other plumbers before Danny, I felt that all 3 companies were shady! Danny was not only experienced and knowledgeable, he was there to help me! He was not there to rip me off of what I needed, unlike the other 3 companies I first dealt with! With that said, Danny C. from Payless Plumbing is your guy! I am utterly grateful for having him bd assigned to help me out! And I will definitely be recommending him to people I know! I appreciate him more than you know! These days, it’s hard to find real honest people who actually cares and not try to rip you off. Especially women clients who they think are stupid enough to agree to the first person who says the heater is broken and can’t be fixed! As Danny had said, everything can be fixed! And he was right on my case! Thanks again Danny C! You are amazing!

Payless was on top of it.we didn’t have to wait long at all. They sent out our technician Derrick & he was great. He was very knowledgable and incredibly helpful. He made sure we had all the info we needed to make the best decisions, he didn’t force anything on us, gave us time to step away make up your mind because it was definitely a cost we were not expecting & worked with us as best as he could. We were so pleased with everything. From initial call to having a representative at our door ( Juan), who checked our old water heater and checked with Chris ( the Manager @ the office) and giving us all our options. Based on our selection and approval to proceed ; Juan started with preliminary installation work then replaced the water heater. installation took place on the same day; everything went smoothly and Juan did a great job 🙏 Thank you guys .

Hello Everyone, I can’t thank you enough Payless for the smooth installation of my new 50 Gallon, Bradford and White Water Heater Tank. Speaking with their customer service I found them friendly, knowledgeable, and answering all my questions, I scheduled an appointment easily, and the best technician Joey, 10yrs with the company, l came out to my home to meet with me, looking at my original 13yr water heater Tank, no longer working properly. After receiving a fair estimate, Joey going over everything with me, answering all my questions, I felt comfortable to schedule the installation, getting a new Water Heater Tank. Payless specializes in installing, ordering from Bradford and White Water Heater Tanks Next I scheduled with Joey my appointment for installation.
