The company I work for has over a dozen apartment buildings in Los Angeles and Orange County. We had been insured with a well known national company for over 10 years. But when our “good neighbor” quit writing insurance in California, we had to find another company. Taking a recommendation from a trade group, we were shocked to learn the coverage that cost us $38K in 2024, was going to cost $152K in 2025! When speaking with a friend who owns some apartments in the same area, he said he had renewed his insurance and while he had seen a similar premium hike from 2024 to 2025, (we both had been previously insured with State Farm) he informed me his 2026 renewal had dropped by about 20%. When I mentioned this to the company that charged us $152K last year, they claimed they had seen similar premium reductions for many of their customers. However, as our 2026 renewal date was getting closer, we were not getting any updates from our existing company. In fact, with less than 3 weeks left on our policies, we STILL didn’t have quotes for all our policies! At my friend’s suggestion, I called Adelfia Insurance. Noemy Flores and Chris Costantini got to work FAST and had us insured in less than two weeks, same coverages and for $126K: $26K less than we paid in 2025!
