Josh Lay was very professional, and his expertise was evident from the moment he assessed the work that needed to be done. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood our options before getting started. The quality of his work was excellent, and he paid close attention to the details. He was punctual, respectful of our home, and left the work area clean when he was finished. It's clear that he takes pride in his craftsmanship and genuinely cares about doing the job right. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and reliable plumber, I highly recommend Josh. We wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future plumbing needs.

Josh was amazing! He took my call just afternoon and then was able to fit me in later that day for an important repair that I had to have before I left town. I would absolutely use them again. He is a man of integrity and a hard-working individual. This is the kind of guy you want working on your home.

Josh is the only way to when it come to plumbing. we hired him to install a Moen leak detector and shut off valve at our house and his service was first class, efficient and cost effective. I highly recommend Josh and Layout Plumbing.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a plumber work for me. My last Plumber ghosted me, so I asked around, and fortunately someone recommended Josh to me. I needed someone ASAP to do some repairs for my tenants. Josh was able to respond to me that same day. Not only fixed the toilet that had a problem, but was able to replace a water heater. I didn’t even realize it was beginning to leak. Thank goodness, he caught that. I have also had do some work at my residence. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is very professional as well. I have since recommended him to family and friends. I highly recommend him!

Last night (12/9/25) at about 7pm, the hot water supply line that feeds into my hot water heater ruptured. It was spraying water everywhere and was drenching the drywall that surrounds the water heater. I texted Josh from Layout Plumbing and he responded within minutes. I sent him pictures of what was going on and he offered me three options. One, to come out that night and replace the supply lines. Two, to come out the next day during regular business hours to perform the work at normal business hour rates. Or three, to explain to me how to fix it myself, which I really appreciated. Knowing that I was not going to be able to fix the problem quickly on my own and would need to run to Home Depot to buy supplies, I opted for Josh to come last night. He was at my door in literally 20 minutes. Josh was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and personable. As he performed the work, he explained to me everything he was doing and gave me ideas on how to avoid issues like this in the future. I also expressed concerns that my water regulator might be going bad because I noticed water pressure issues in the house. Josh took the time to check the pressure, and sure enough, confirmed the regulator needs to be replaced. He again explained how I can perform the work myself, but I also asked him for a quote to do it. Thank you Josh. You are excellent at your trade and I will for sure be hiring you again.
