We got an addition to put on our house years ago by a different contractor and it was always a problem area. The roofline never tied in properly, there were small leaks every winter, and the floor sloped enough that you could feel it walking through. We brought UPS in as our general contractor to fix it as part of a larger remodel that included redoing the kitchen and adding a small ADU in the backyard. They started by actually figuring out what was wrong with the original addition, instead of just covering it up. Turned out the framing was undersized for the span and the roof had been tied in without proper flashing. They reframed the section, redid the roof tie-in with new flashing and underlayment, and leveled the floor where it had sagged. No leaks this winter for the first time in years. The kitchen and ADU work was done by the same crew.

Spent about two months getting quotes before going with UPS. The owner walked the lot with us twice before we signed anything. Build took just over four months from groundbreak to final inspection. There were a few back and forths on finishes but nothing that held up the schedule in any real way.

the estimate process was quick and they didnt try to add a bunch of stuff we didnt need. there arent a ton of ADU contractors in Valencia that respond fast so that was already a plus. once we signed the contract they got the permit moving within a couple weeks. crew that showed up was the same crew the whole way through which i liked. communication during the build was solid, weekly updates and they used a shared photo album so we could see progress when we werent home

We had a garage conversion done by UPS and it went well from the initial meeting through final walkthrough. A neighbor over in Stevenson Ranch recommended them. The estimate was detailed and the timeline they gave us was close to what actually happened. The finished space looks like it was always part of the house. Very happy with how it all came together.

got a quote pretty quick and they were straightforward about costs which i appreciated. the crew that came out was organized and didn't drag things out. comparing options in Valencia these guys were the most responsive by far. finished the project on time and the quality of the work is solid, no complaints from me
