Corporate management needs to conduct unannounced visits to this location to see how it actually operates day to day. Customer service here is consistently poor. While there are a few helpful employees, the majority treat customers as an inconvenience. It’s common to wait 15–20 minutes just to check out while staff stand around chatting, not answering phones, and not assisting customers or processing orders. Store opening hours are extremely inconsistent. The posted hours state a 7:00 AM opening, yet as of 7:15 AM there were multiple installers waiting outside while the full staff was visibly inside the store, making no effort to open or communicate. This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I’ve had at any branch. These issues are not isolated incidents—I’ve been coming to this location for years, and the problems are ongoing and consistent. Many of the five-star reviews appear to be from staff or personal acquaintances rather than actual customers. Corporate should send an undercover, unannounced evaluator to experience this store firsthand and see how it is truly run. For customers who value professionalism and efficiency, KOA is a far better option. They may not stock everything, but what they don’t have can be ordered—without having to deal with the experience at Volutone.

This is hands down the worst-run Snap One location I’ve dealt with. They never answer the phone, and most of the staff at the desk come off as rude or uninterested in helping. I’ve had to call the Simi Valley location just to get an order processed because this store is completely unreliable. Avoid if you have other options.

Great people! Great selection of electronics but, slow website. Hopefully, they will be updating their system to make buying easier.

This is a wholesale dealer , you need special licencing to buy from their store. You may be able to get items on line for retail prices. Thos is a great store with very knowledgeable staff that is up to date security and camera systems. They are experts in the audio visual aspects of home theater. They have a great selection of security cameras, audio systems, and the best T V.s available.
