My wife and I wanted to renovate the kitchen of our 1950 home and take out 2 load-bearing walls to open up the space. We are new home owners and this was our first home construction project. M A Garcia, Inc came highly recommended to me by my real estate agent. I took bids from a few different companies, but in the end I chose M A Garcia, Inc because I liked the smaller, down-to-earth family operation as opposed to a big company. From the beginning, Marco and Anthony were easy to talk to and did not pressure me at all in any decision making. My wife and I designed the kitchen we were hoping for and Marco, Anthony, and their crew gave us exactly what we wanted. They offered us construction/framing ideas and options (raising the ceiling) when needed but left most the design to us. The raised foundation needed some repairs and leveling after the walls were removed and they helped with that. We wanted to keep our original hardwood floors, and they were able to lace in new oak flooring to match the old as best as possible. The custom cabinets are absolutely beautiful. It almost feels like we moved back into a new home. The kitchen is more beautiful than we ever anticipated. We couldn't be happier with their work, and would highly recommend their work to anyone.
