I dealt with Jeff Neumeister Managing Partner. I was caught in a cyrpto scam so reached out on their website. The picture of funds lost was detailed in the info given them. Jeff called me late at night, like 10:30pm, I was surprised. Told him my situation and he said they could help. Will send me an email received the email with a request for a report I can pull from Coinbase. Pulled the report and they will review it. I received a quote for 2 parts: cyrpto ( no trades that can be reported as it was a scam) and the actual flings of Fed/State returns. The spread of these quotes was 66% from low to high. Jeff called me a couple time lowering the spreads though nothing in writing, only verbal. Red flags about what the end result would be. I had contacted 3 companies, the orher 2 gave solid quotes 1 had very poor reviews and the other 99% great. I went with the 2nd firm with great reviews and a quote of $3,700 vs $4,500-$7,500. I explained my reasoning to Jeff. Next day Jeff sent me a bill for $973 and 30 days to pay it. Blew me away. Never signed an agreement to pay any fee for an initial counsel - felt I was screwed. I live in Portland, OR he is in Woodland Hills, CA. Reached out to him, said they spent time looking at the Coinbase report and he called me a couple times. I flatly do not recommend even talking with this group. Feels like I was scammed again. The other group I went with came thru with perfection at half the fee.
