We hired 1 Smart Build to build a 1200 sqft ADU in our backyard, and we are thrilled with how it turned out. Anyone who has done major construction knows how stressful it can be, but their crew made the whole process straightforward. They handled all the city permits and zoning requirements for the Woodland Hills area without any delays, which was a massive relief. The framing, plumbing, and finish work are top-notch - the place feels like a true custom home, not just a quick backyard add-on. Most importantly, the team actually showed up on time, kept the dirt and noise to a minimum, and stuck to the original budget without sneaking in hidden costs. If you need a reliable general contractor for a new build, these guys absolutely know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a contractor who actually delivers on their promises, look no further than 1 Smart Build. We just finished a complete, top-to-bottom remodel of our entire home, and the results are honestly breathtaking. Going into a project of this scale—gutting the kitchen, renovating every bathroom, and updating all the indoor and outdoor finishes*—we were prepared for a lot of stress. But the team at 1 Smart Build made the entire process feel manageable and, dare I say, exciting. The Interior: Kitchen & Baths The kitchen is now the absolute heart of our home. The craftsmanship on the cabinetry and the precision of the tile work in the bathrooms is top-tier. They have an incredible eye for modern luxury; we opted for 10-foot ceilings and integrated Smart home automation, and the way they executed those technical details was flawless. It feels like a high-end custom estate now. The Exterior & Finishes They didn’t just stop at the walls. The transition from our indoor living space to the outdoor area is seamless. The new outdoor finishes have completely changed how we use our backyard—it’s like we added a whole new wing to the house. The Verdict What really sets them apart is their transparency and professionalism. They stayed on track, kept the site clean, and the communication was constant. Our home is now more energy-efficient (thanks to the high-efficiency solar they integrated) and more beautiful than we imagined. Thank you to the whole crew for giving us our dream home. If you want a team that treats your house like their own, 1 Smart Build is the only way to go!"

I cannot recommend 1 Smart Build highly enough! We recently hired them for a major kitchen remodeling project, and the results have completely exceeded our expectations. Our vision was to modernize our home by opening up the kitchen to the living room. This wasn't a simple cosmetic update; it required the removal of a major load-bearing wall. While we were initially nervous about the structural work, the team at 1 Smart Build put us at ease immediately. Their expertise was evident from day one. They handled the engineering and structural reinforcement with absolute professionalism and precision. The craftsmanship is top-notch. We used the latest materials for the cabinets, countertops, and flooring, and the installation is flawless. The attention to detail really shines through in the finish work. What truly sets 1 Smart Build apart, however, is their communication. In construction, it is rare to find a team that keeps you in the loop every step of the way. They were transparent, responsive, and ensured that our vision was perfectly translated into reality. Because of this open line of communication, the project ran smoothly, and the final result is exactly what we dreamed of—a beautiful, open-concept space that has changed the way we live in our home. If you are looking for a company that combines technical skill with integrity and great management, look no further.
