We love Fusion Star! Sean came highly recommended years back and we had him install a dual zone mini split in our work space. It changed our lives and his attention to detail is second to none. We also have had him maintain the older central system in our house and it runs like a charm. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with keeping us cool (and warm in winter!). Sean and team are the best. Highly recommended!

What started as what I thought was a simple blown fuse somewhere between our thermostat and our front HVAC system turned out to lead to a whole avalanche of problems. Whoever flipped our house before we bought it did the absolute minimum to keep the front unit going, and after 20+ years of an oversized unit pumping air through too-small ducts with not enough vents… the system had finally kicked the bucket. Sean has an uncanny ability to assess not just the health of a central HVAC system but also the adequacy of the ductwork and vents connected to the system. We ended up replacing the front unit with a heat pump and redoing the ductwork for both this front unit as well as the newer rear HVAC unit in our house. It is like night and day with the new system- before Fusion Star’s work, you would hear and almost feel a thud throughout the house when the larger rear unit kicked in, and the front unit was so mismatched with its ductwork and vents, there was air whooshing out of some vents and barely coming out of any others. Now we don’t even think about our system- you only know it’s on because the house is incredibly comfortable even in the San Fernando Valley summer or if you walk under a vent and feel a gentle breeze of cool air. Sean also managed a team of subcontractors from roofers and electricians as well as a rodent remediation company (yes, the attic was full of problems). The work was done on schedule and we didn’t find any evidence of them after they left because they tidied up so well. Having to replace a central air unit is never fun, especially for your wallet, but it is also a fact of life for homeowners. At some point we’re going to need to replace the rear unit and Fusion Star is who we will call.

We had previously had two new HVAC units installed by Top AC and after multiple issues and repairs to the system within the first year, I reached out to American Standard and they recommended Fusion Star. From the moment I reached out to them I have been extremely impressed with the entire team. The owner, Sean came out to look at our system to determine what had been done in the past and how to fix the issues we were having. After a thorough investigation of our current system he put together a very detailed proposal of what he recommended . My husband and I requested a second meeting with Sean to review it and make sure we understood everything and that we were all on the same page; Sean took the time to sit down with us both and explain it in detail. Sean and his team have been very professional since day one, always communicating what was going on, any delays or issues that came up were explained to us in advance. They showed up every day on time, cleaned up every Evening before leaving for the day and were a dream to work with. He and his team are extremely knowledgeable, work well as a team, and all take pride in their work. We would highly recommend Fusion Star to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

We had an excellent experience with Sean and Fusion Star! When our old HVAC system gave up the ghost, Sean came highly recommended for his attention to detail and excellent service, and we were not at all disappointed. He helped us through the decision-making process with real expertise and we felt we were in great hands with the install, which went very smoothly and took less time than expected. The system works great and we are grateful for Sean’s ongoing help and service, with great communication and responsiveness throughout. Replacing an HVAC system is an expensive endeavor and it is doubly important to make sure that it is installed correctly with care and attention to detail. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for HVAC service or replacement!

Fusion Star was great to work with for HVAC during my remodel. The entire crew was professional, worked clean, careful, and did quality work. I will continue to work with them for all needs. Fusion star installed new vents and re configured my existing ducts. They also installed a new minisplit system. My house is more efficient and stays significantly cooler and more comfortable.
