Superior Roofing Systems (SRS) was referred to us by our long-time termite inspection company (which has only referred us to businesses with whom they have had multiple positive experiences). Taylor Jacks of SRS was our point of contact. Taylor provided us with options for how to address our roofing concerns. This enabled us to make a thoughtful decision on which approach to take. With our home being 33 years old and having had one roof leak already, we decided to do a full “Tile Re Lay / Re Set” and replace a large number of fascia boards and replace two skylights. Taylor checked on the roofing crew and with me regularly. Also, a supervisor on his team, Luis Ponce, stopped by multiple times to communicate with the crew and with me. Overall, we think that the roofing job was well done by SRS. In retrospect, we needed to have a better handle upfront on the number of fascia boards needing replacement. As with any wood/carpentry work, the wood is expensive and the cost is extra; so the budget for this job increased significantly. The best thing about SRS is their responsiveness to a customer’s questions and requests. Taylor answered my calls and responded timely to emails and texts. Taylor also made adjustments to the job as needed. In addition, Taylor ensured that Luis could come back to inspect the roof after subsequent painting and gutter installation was done - and Luis replaced four tiles that had gotten broken from that subsequent work with new tiles (at no charge).

Taylor and Superior Roofing were really great to work with and did a great job assessing and replacing my roof. They were professional, gave me a reasonable price (much lower than some of the outrageous other quotes I got that were flat out lying about things that I didn't actually need) and were honest and transparent and communicative the entire time of my roof installation. The finished product looks great and I definitely recommend this company if you need roof work done. I got their number from a neighbor who had used them, so they've been passed around among friends and used by a few people I know and they all said good things.

I contacted Superior Roofing Systems (SRS) to obtain an estimate for a new flat roof and insulation for my home. I met with Taylor and he promptly provided a written estimate. I continued my research and learned that I could speak directly with the manufacturer to build my roof with specific material. When time came to initiate the project, I asked Taylor to update the estimate with that specific roofing material from the manufacturer. After reviewing multiple estimates from multiple roofers for the specific roof build that I wanted, I selected SRS. The tear off was completed. Rotted wood was replaced. However, as timing would have it, rain was expected within days of the initial tear off and there wasn't enough time to complete the re-roof before the rain. The crew used plastic sheathing to protect the unroofed, exposed areas. However, during the rain, we sustained ceiling damage inside one room of the home. While extremely disappointed that this had occurred, Taylor assured me that he would make it right. They sent two professional drywallers out to make the necessary ceiling repairs and they did a great job. They were neat and tidy and I truly appreciate that. When it came time to pay the final bill, Taylor was a man of his word and made it right! Note: I had a flat roof without any insulation and was unable to cool my home with a new air conditioning unit. I now have a flat roof (Certainteed Cool Star product) with 2-inch poly-iso carbonate insulation and the interior temperature of my home has easily been reduced 10-15 degrees on a hot, sunny day. Thus, my cooling bill has significantly reduced and I'm pleased to recoup my investment via lower utility bills. Insulation was essential and worth the cost of the upgrade.

Superior Roofing Systems has now completed 4 projects at our rental properties. We have had the pleasure of working with Taylor Jacks who is very detailed and attentive to our needs. Superior has performed repairs to existing roofs and also performed complete roof replacements for several of our rental properties (Commercial and residential). Their proposals (bids) are concise, complete and competitive. Superior has always performed well, staying on schedule and doing so without disrupting our tenants.
