Overall, what started as a promising experience devolved into something far-less than acceptable. Last-minute demands and deadlines without proper heads-up, and repeated ‘warnings’ and reminders that bordered on bullying. Even efforts to resolve pertinent letters from the IRS were met with “you have not hired me to consult on your business…” - Never in 35 years have I had a response like this from a CPA. (my bookkeepers actually helped me resolve these letters!! - since the CPA who initially reassured he had my back 180’d after a few months to “If you want an answer, fill out a scheduling request…”) Incorrect estimation of payroll led to penalties (another CPA resolved this); unable to digitally file and therefore I was handed a last-minute “drop everything to go to the USPS in the middle of your workday”… And incessant “Confirm you have read and acknowledged this statement” emails. On the day of the one office visit, zero parking in his office building, and zero street parking. Thank you.
