I think it's such a cool sign and the whole area has such a nice atmosphere. It can take a while waiting to cross the road though.

Great little tourist stop on the 101. Tons of shopping here, and some great eat places. Life slows down just a bit when you're here. Take in some of the cool murals scattered through the town as well.

The current sign has been up since 2014. The historical sign first placed in Carlsbad in the 1920s. The current sign is a replica of the historic sign. Ignore the comments that don't know what they don't know.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy and hard to locate parking but a lot of good restaurants and beach is close by.

Great place to spend while crossing the street safely in any direction. It contains audible and visual safety cues as well how much time left to cross the street🚶🏽‍♂️
