I have used Smithey Pest Control for over 5 years now. I was referred to him by a Property Manager friend. His prices are reasonable. He is very reliable. He comes out when he says he will. He is very easy to work with. He comes out annually to take care of the "kissing beetles" which are very active in the summertime.

I switched to Smithey Pest Control after using Corkys for a few years (and constantly being rescheduled on by them). Kevin at Smithey is so friendly and reliable! He is always on time and is quick to respond with help and suggestions. His service is like night and day compared to the big name pest control companies. This service is 5 stars!

I called Kevin (the owner)at this business asking for advise regarding a potential bug infestation. He was so intentional of listening to my concern. After a lengthy conversation, Kevin said that he would be more than happy to do do an inspection of my home. The following business day he sent one of his technicians to my home, his name was Charlie. I can't even begin to say how wonderful my entire interaction was through the whole process! Charlie was on time, friendly, professional and explained to me everything he was doing. I did not feel rushed at all he really did care. When all was done, he assured me, that there were no bugs at all. Not 10 mins after Charlie left the owner called me personally to check ip! Wow, How refreshing to find a business that actually takes their time to make the visit not only comfortable. But, enjoyable! I cannot thank them enough. Bravo 10 🌟

Can't thank Kevin and his team enough. My wife and I had just bought a home in Imperial Beach as we have our first baby on the way. We were ready to move to our new home. Boxes packed, truck rented, dogs ready. Everything. We decided to swing by the new house the the day before and eat pizza. Our ritual. We were greeted by a good number of mosquitoes, spiders, and earwig pincers. With our move happening the next morning I needed a trustworthy company pretty fast. I called a few places but they were not flexible. I was pushed off a few days and the quotes I was getting were not the best. I am glad Kevin picked up when we called. He was understanding. Congratulated us on our new home and baby on the way and said would move some things around to take care of us. Not sure why the first companies we called charged more, but Kevin's prices were fair and reasonable. He showed up with his team next morning and saved the day. They not only too care of the inside and outside of the house, they helped get all the cobwebs and spiders in the roof of the garage. Def felt like they cared for us. Very detailed. He gave us a few tips on what to expect and how to deal with mosquitoes. We live next to the estuary so I can see why he was ready with those tips. Thank you Kevin :)

We were the unlucky recipients of rats in our garage and in our kitchen drawers...yuk! Kevin and his team came out and thoroughly assessed the situation and got the problem under control in no time flat. Having dealt with other pest control companies in the past it was always a hassle and often times no results. This was not the case with Smithey Pest Control, they are professional and knowledgeable, which let's be honest that is what you are looking for when you home is being invaded by rodents.
